I was wondering if anyone had a PS3 Eye? I was rereading some of this, and even tho I had no interest in the PS3 Eye, reading about it being used in this again finally got me interested enough to look up videos on it. I saw a pretty impressive set of displays using the PS3 eye and some physics, also saw a realistic Japanese hair and clothes demo deal. So I looked up it's price on Walmart and saw it was only $32, I was expecting it to be $50-60. $32 is not bad at all, and there are several cheap games for it on the PSN. However I'm not too fond of cheap gimmicks which is why I skipped the PS2 eyetoy.

I guess I'm asking if it's worth it? This time around it seems like the PS3 Eye does more, it can be used in video conferences, for LBP, Home, and so on, and it's cheaper than I expected. Anyone actually have it to tell me if it's worth buying? As for the first time I'm actually considering it.

One last note tho, I wouldn't be buying it purely for LBP. As much as I like it, I wouldn't buy it just for that.

Sony really needs to market the heck out of this game and look into some cross promotion stuff. I think something like adding Sackboy toys with like a Happy Meal would work. They really should sell Sackboy stuffed figures by holiday time. I can see them getting popular and becoming collector's items kind of like the beanie baby craze from years back. There's so much marketing potential here and all they have to do is capitalize on it.

Another great idea is to have a LittleBigPlanet limited edition PS3 bundle. They could sell that for $449. Or they could get away with selling it for $459 and throwing in some LBP extra (like 2 of the preorder exclusives or something similar) and making the PS3 white. People would go for it.

Theres awhile to go yet before its released, I'd imagine exclusives will be announced just weeks before it comes out.

Well its still 2 months off. There's always time for something like that. I'd hope for some sort of special edition too. Fallout 3's collector's is sweeeeeeeeeeet.

I watched the LBP "Sackzilla" trailer on the PS Store a few days ago. Everytime I see a LBP segment like this I have to keep reminding myself it's in game. The scope of what you can do, and it being in game is amazing. Some of these things I keep wanting to think are cut scenes but I know their not.

Thats bc the US retailer for Nariko hasnt been revealed yet. Im surprised Gamestop gave out the voucher already. I thought they would have waited till the game was released. Depending on where the Nariko one is, I plan on cancelling my GS preorder since I already have the Kratos code.

Ahhh yes that bundle does look great. Sony should have released that over here instead of the Uncharted one, or better yet sell both. So far the PS3 really has a hardcore image attached to it and that would definetly appeal to the casual gamers. I can see parents looking at that bundle and getting it for their kids

I was reading the new PS3 magazine over here in the UK, and they say that they will have an exclusive LBP "present" to give away next issue, next to a picture of Nariko Sack-Girl. I'm thinking that in the UK, there might be a code with the magazine, rather than with a retailer.
