I like Anne Hathaway for Lois as of today. She seems like a good enough actress to pull off plucky, a little crazy and legitimate journalist in addition to being a worthy romantic interest for Earth's Greatest Hero.

Feel free to change my mind, though.

Personally, I hate her more than any other suggestion...

She would have made a great Harley Quinn, but nothing about her says Lois to me.

This is what I see when I think of her...

She's so readily assosiated with playing a sweet little girl, that I don't want her playing Lois Lane.

I actually think she is a pretty decent actress amongst everyone on 90210.
The only problem is that she still looks a little too young, but in two years time she will be perfect. Hell, its probably gonna take that long anyway for the movie to get made, so we might as well get her in now!

She would go perfect alongside Cavill though.

So...I'm noticing that despite a couple of the fan favorites for Superman being the older, more mature types (based on the rumor that that's likely what we're gonna get), people are still keeping with the young Lois candidates in this thread.

In the hypothetical situation that we do get a Superman that's more in the vein of Jon Hamm, Joe M, etc., who are the faves for Lois then? Because these 90210/CW gals won't cut it. Where are the over-30 Lois candidates?

My vote still goes to Michelle Monaghan, but Rachel McAdams and Amy Adams could be good, too (though I agree that AA seems much better suited to Lana). Or for a lesser-known over-30 option that I may just be throwing in because I've been catching up on some Castle lately...Stana Katic?
