The Official Mark Strong & Sinestro Thread

I've gotten a bit of a photo-shop bug, mainly because I'm just learning to use it.

Yeah, it's pretty good. Not Scott's best but it's too bad not alot of people saw it.

But yeah, the funny thing is I always heard Strong's voice for Sinestro. Especially his voice in Holmes.

trust me. he's the next Gary Oldman. Well not as colorful but he's always been the showstopper even if his roles are small.

I wouldnt say all of that. But he's solid for Sinestro

Strong is certainly a capable actor, and he physically looks the part of Sinestro. I think he will do well......especially when he turns uber baddie either by the end of this first film or in the eventual sequel.

I would have preferred Viggo Mortensen or Hugo Weaving of course...but Strong should do just fine!

Yes, JEH would have been too short technically.....but I wasn't against him for the role. They could have used SFX to make him look taller. Maybe JEH can play Abin Sur or Tomar-Re?

Like I said before.....they can use digital effects to make JEH look taller if they wanted to.

Since Abin will most likely not have a big role in the film.....then I think Neeson would be perfect. Granted it won't happen most likely....but Neesons voice alone for Abin would be perfect!

Neeson has such a noble presence!
They picked him for Qui-Gon,Ras, Aslan, and Bay asked ILM to study Neeson's movement and mannerisms so that Prime moves regally, just like him.

I've seen him in three movies (Tristan and Isolde, Stardust, and Sunshine small role though in that one so I guess it doesn't count) and in all three of them I felt he was pretty forgettable.

Definitely not the next Gary Oldman.

He is Freddy and on Human Target, Over exposed is not the right term but he seems like the GO-TO guy for bad guys on these boards. In what way does he even say or look Sinestro? The guy just doesnt fit the part/
