Sorry fro dredging up an old thread, but I just wanted to ask a question in regards to Justice League. With all the reports that production has been delayed, I have been reading various articles stating which heroes are appearing in the film. However, J'onn J'onz is always omitted from these articles. Is he still even appearing in the film? I know that George Miller stated that he wrote him back into the flm but with another request for a rewrite from the studios, is he still going to be appearing? It would be a crying shame if he didnt make it into the film and for one of the founding characters of the JL to be ignored. A bit of a slap in the face for fans really. I'd lose all interest if so.

Martian Manhunter is in the movie.

He stars the first action scene in the movie, where he lost the control of his powers and flyes off destroying everything, while Flash chases him.

The rumores say he is going tom be used by Max Lord to invade and control Superman's mind, transforming him into the Leader of the Omac troops.

I could see taking him out of the film as one of the potential rewrites. Especially sense the budget is a concern. His character is going to be potentially expensive, because you have to asume he will be CGI and in fights scenes possibly morphing into dragons and monsters and such.

If that were the case...my interest level would drop to zero if they continue with the same cast. I would have paid money for MM alone.

It's also possible and most likely that his name was not mentioned in the articles because he is not particularly worthy of mention to the GA. They have no idea who he is for the most part.

Thanks. I was pleased with the reports that George Miller wanted MM in JL, however, if WB or the producers do remove him from the cast I don't think I would be bothered at all about this. I think MM needs a bit more respect!

It would be great if they had him use multiple identities through the film. From being men, women to pets.

He's the League's perfect infiltrator.

Hugh-Keays Byrne is very intimidating, but he can also be... like... calm. With some good make-ul (Hellboy Style) he could be MM without CGI.

I want the Justice League Unlimited looking Martian Manhunter, he was PERFECT there.

I HATE the stupid blue suited pointy head skrully chin he has now in the comics, I DO NOT want that look in the movie. Just SOOOOO ******ed.

Also, I think that ALL the martians should look the same/similar to Martian Manhunter, and how he looked on JLU, costume and everything, should be how he always looks and how some martians dressed on his planet. i always hated the stupid human/martian "compromise" thing, he should ALWAYS look how he looked on JLU.

I want that costume, the blue trunks, bucanneer boots, gold plates with red straps across chest, and blue cape with folded color look for him on film. It kicks ass and I won't tolerate otherwise.

Also, i think that that MM should NOT be entirely CGI and that the same actor or a different actor should play John Jones.
