Mega Man 11 details Blast Man, Balloon Attack mode
Published 2 days ago. 16 comments.
A Robot Master with a flair for the theatric.

Capcom has released new information and screenshots of Mega Man 11 detailing new Robot Master Blast Man and the new Balloon Attack mode.
Get the details below.

Blast Man
You’ll pay for the whole seat, but you’ll only need the edge – a new boss bursts onto the scene of Mega Man 11! Introducing Blast Man, a Robot Master with a flair for the theatric… and a taste for explosions. Lots and lots of explosions. This volatile ‘bot is no joke, so read on for what to expect from his stage and learn about newly revealed features for Mega Man 11!

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-03-18_001.jpg

While Block Man’s stage has pitfall-riddled pyramids built around his ego, and Fuse Man’s stage takes place in a tricky power plant, Blast Man has a decidedly more… wait for it… explosive approach to the place he calls home. This Robot Master is clearly on a short fuse, and it shows in the design of his stage: the ruined remains of a theme park and movie studio hybrid that Blast Man has shaped into his personal playground. He’s added several personal touches, including a number of signs featuring himself as the star of “Blast Man Adventure.” It seems like Block Man isn’t the only one with a narcissistic streak!

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-03-18_002.jpg

Getting to Blast Man’s lair is certainly no walk in the park. New enemies such as fireball-launching foes and explosion-prone mini-bots are the least of your problems when you have to deal with volatile boxes littered about each room, just waiting for a reason to detonate. Familiar enemies like Sniper Joe make their return to try and foil players’ progress, threatening to turn this adventurous stage into a total blowout. Always seeming to show up in the most troublesome places, Sniper Joe’s shield is as strong as ever, but smart use of the Power Gear can help even the odds against this classic foe.

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-03-18_003.jpg

Just when you think things couldn’t get more off the rails, you’ll have to deal with a roller coaster ride of a mid-boss. Explosive mini-bots zoom around in rockets on rails, occasionally tumbling out when they’re upside-down – so much for proper safety precautions! You can’t damage the rockets with regular buster shots, so you’ll have to get creative as you dodge dive-kicks from the falling robots and jump over the out-of-control coaster.

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-03-18_004.jpg

Successfully dodging the bangs, booms, and bots of Blast Man’s stage will bring you to the Robot Master himself, whose short-fused nature is apparent by what’s left of the amusement park in the background. Taking cues from his bomb-tossing predecessors, Blast Man hops around the room while slinging explosives everywhere in his attempt to turn Mega Man into scrap metal.

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-03-18_005.jpg

When Blast Man has reached the end of his fuse, he pushes himself to the limit using the Power Gear! As you might expect from this explosion-loving robot, the Power Gear supersizes Blast Man’s bombs, giving them greater explosive force while his attack patterns become more erratic. You’ll have to be at the top of your game if you want to disarm Blast Man for good.

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-03-18_006.jpg

Your reward for defusing this volatile Robot Master is Chain Blast, a unique weapon that floats bombs across the screen that stick to enemies along the way. As the name suggests, you can chain together multiple bombs and detonate them all at once, or use the Power Gear to create massive explosives for even bigger blasts!

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-03-18_007.jpg

As you’re busy busting ‘bots in Mega Man 11, you’ll collect bolts dropped by enemies and scattered throughout each stage. Just like in past games, you’ll be able to use the bolts you’ve found to craft new items and upgrades at Dr. Light’s Lab thanks to the hard work of Roll, Auto, and Dr. Light himself. The aptly named Auto-Charge Chip shown above is just one of the many upgrades you can get equipped with throughout your adventure, including some icons that may look familiar to long-time fans.

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-03-18_008.jpg
Other Challenges
When you want to take a break from the fight for everlasting peace, you can also check out a number of different challenges! The classic Time Attack mode drops players into Robot Masters’ stages, tasking them with completing individual stages as quickly as possible to make their mark on the leaderboards.

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-03-18_009.jpg

Balloon Attack mode is a unique take on Mega Man 11’s stages, removing all the enemies in stages in favor of colorful balloons that dot the landscape. It’s not all clowning around, though; you’re still working against the clock! As you make your way through stages, burst blue balloons as quickly as possible by using your Mega Buster or simply running into them. Every red balloon you burst and each blue balloon you miss along the way adds to your timer, so you’ll have to navigate stages carefully to get the fastest time possible. This mode is sure to put your platforming skills to the test, alongside a number of other challenging modes included with Mega Man 11.
Mega Man 11 is due out worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 2.

Mega Man 11 adds Torch Man
Published 3 days ago. 8 comments.

Watch out for the "Fist of Fire."

Capcom has released new video, information, and screenshots of Mega Man 11detailing Robot Master Torch Man.
Get the details below.

Ah, summertime. There’s nothing quite like the great outdoors, is there? You can join the Metalls as they sing campfire songs, roast s’mores by the fire of encroaching flame walls, and dodge mechanical spiders while you narrowly avoid being grilled on hot plates. Turns out camping is a little different when Torch Man is around!

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-19-18_001.jpg
Mega-Man-11_2018_07-19-18_002.jpg

For our last update we revealed Blast Man and his volatile theme park, but the surprisingly cool-headed Torch Man trades out the densely packed corridors of an abandoned movie studio for a lush forest and campsite that he’s turned into his personal training grounds to hone his “Fist of Fire” technique.

The dense foliage may seem like a pretty unusual choice for a robot whose shoulders are quite literally ablaze, but before Torch Man turned evil, he used to teach campers about fire safety. What irony!

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-19-18_003.jpg

Starting at the edges of a campsite, your idyllic walk in the woods is quickly interrupted by the many robots littering the forest. With enemies both out and about under a twilight sky and hiding away in tents propped up along your path, you’ll have to watch your step navigating the platforms and perils scattered around the stage.

Further complicating things are heavily forested areas, preventing even the faintest moonlight from shining through and making platforms impossible to see. Fortunately, some friendly-looking lantern-shaped owls can help light your way, making it easier to see where you’re headed. How helpful! Unfortunately, they also attempt to drip fiery globs of gas on to Mega Man, making it that much harder to get where you’re going. How… awkward.

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-19-18_004.jpg

About halfway between you and your mission to douse Torch Man is an idyllic scene of Metalls gathered around a bonfire. It’s interesting seeing so many of them not hiding under their helmets – maybe they’re only shy when Mega Man is nearby.

The peaceful scene is quickly shattered by Sparkey, a flaming turkey that’s so fired up, the blaze on its back will absorb your Mega Buster shots! Erratically jumping around the arena, this flaming fowl lays eggs that hatch into smaller robots, so you’ll have to watch your feet and put the Speed Gear to good use while focusing fire – or rather, attacks – on its vulnerable areas. Once this mid-boss has cooled off a bit, unleash everything you’ve got to roast it for good.

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-19-18_005.jpg

There’s a lot more to Torch Man’s stage as well, with devious mazes to navigate and tricky platforms standing in your way as walls of flame bear down on you.

If you’re starting to feel the heat, Rush is just a button press away! Use Mega Man’s faithful robot canine to bounce up and away from difficult enemies, and activate the Speed Gear to give yourself a bit of extra time so you don’t wind up charbroiled.

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-19-18_006.jpg

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-19-18_007.jpg

When you finally catch up to Torch Man, the woods ablaze behind him (nobody told him only he can prevent forest fires), you’ll have to deal with much more than a bit of fire here and there.

Torch Man is surprisingly nimble, showing that he’s not just a disciple of fire, but a “Torch-jutsu” martial arts master as well! Time your jumps and slides well to dodge fireballs and maneuver your way around Torch Man’s red hot kicks while getting attacks in. Don’t drop your guard, or else you might find yourself at the mercy of this Robot Master’s fiery spirit when he loses his temper.

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-19-18_008.jpg

Stamping out Torch Man will grant you Blazing Torch, a weapon that diagonally fires a ball of red-hot fire into the air! Just like the Robot Master this weapon comes from, each flaming ball comes crashing back down as a searing projectile, reminiscent of Torch Man’s blazing kicks.

Using the Power Gear, you can supercharge the move to turn up the heat and fire off three projectiles at once!

Mega-Man-11_2018_07-19-18_009.jpg

Aside from being a powerful weapon in its own right, Blazing Torch has plenty of other uses, too. You’ll get to try for yourself when Mega Man 11comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 2! Pre-order now to receive a suite of eight alternate instrumental music tracks for each Robot Master’s stage.
Mega Man 11 is due out worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 2.

Mega Man 11 adds Impact Man
Published 21 hours ago. 11 comments.
Meet the heavy-duty construction robot.

Capcom has released new video, information, and screenshots of Mega Man 11detailing Robot Master Impact Man.

Get the details below.

It’s time for some heavy metal. Joining the four previously revealed Robot Masters for Mega Man 11, the large and in charge Impact Man has assembled an army of building ‘bots at an old construction site, and it’s up to Mega Man to tear down his ambitions. A dedicated robot who likes to see a job through to the end, Impact Man is focused solely on spiking Mega Man into the ground… permanently! Read on to learn more about this riveting boss robot and his unique special weapon.

Mega-Man-11_2018_08-31-18_001.jpg

Mega-Man-11_2018_08-31-18_002.jpg

As a heavy-duty construction robot, it makes sense that Impact Man was designed to withstand some of the toughest working conditions, and was previously tasked with constructing solid foundations for future building projects. Perhaps because of his single-minded nature, Impact Man has tunneled deep within the caves and caverns of a construction site, ensuring that only the most diligent of heroes can pierce through to his lair hiding within. With a stage design calling back to the construction-themed Robot Masters from the original Mega Man, you’ll need guts to survive this challenging stage filled with moving platforms, pitfalls, and deviously placed enemies that are all looking to bring the hammer down on the Blue Bomber.

Mega-Man-11_2018_08-31-18_003.jpg

Most of the robots around the construction site keep up with proper safety protocol, setting up electrified barriers and Missile Cones to deter gate crashers. Pickaxe-throwing robots called Pickmen are stationed as lookouts for trespassers while Metalls are littered about, wearing their everything-proof safety helmets at all times and unleashing projectiles on unsuspecting intruders. With all these robots dedicated to safety, it might just lull you into a false sense of security as you dive into the construction site. Good thing Mega Man has his own helmet! Fortunately, the caves are structurally sound, and you won’t have to worry about falling rocks… unless you take a wrong step. With pickaxes, missiles, and all kinds of projectiles flying around, you’ll need to take extreme care that Mega Man’s adventures don’t come to a premature end from falling into a pit. Fortunately, clever use of the Speed Gear can help you maneuver around projectiles or knock stray pickaxes out of the air with a well-placed shot from your Mega Buster.

Before going spelunking, it’s a good idea to grab a few items from Dr. Light’s Lab like Beat Calls and E Tanks. Each single-use Beat Call is a literal lifesaver if you fall into a deadly pit, automatically summoning Mega Man’s friendly bird ally, Beat, to swoop in and rescue the Blue Bomber from impending doom. Helpful as the little robot bird is, Beat can only fly for so long while carrying Mega Man. Be sure to find a safe place to land before Beat gets tuckered out and drops Mega Man like a… well, you know.

Mega-Man-11_2018_08-31-18_004.jpg

Mega-Man-11_2018_08-31-18_005.jpg

Despite being taken over by Impact Man, the construction site is still bustling with activity, and nothing will stop these ‘bots from getting the job done. You might have seen Pickman Digger in the very first trailer for Mega Man 11 – he’s quite dedicated to his job and an accomplished driver, but never quite figured out how to operate the backhoe. Trading his pickaxe for a stick shift, this miniboss will try to bring heavy machinery down on the Blue Bomber’s head, or swing wildly in a circle to sideswipe players who aren’t keeping a close eye on the background. Careful positioning can keep you on your feet as he slams his way around the arena, shaking loose boulders as he goes, but you’ll have to time your shots just right to hit the cockpit and deal damage.

As the fight goes on, a Missile Cone drops on to the cabin, joining the fray to unleash a barrage of projectiles at Mega Man. Never doubt the comradery of construction! The power of friendship is on full display here, but it might not be as fun when it’s used against you. Clever use of special weapons gained from other Robot Masters can help turn the fight in your favor, so be sure to give it everything you’ve got!

Mega-Man-11_2018_08-31-18_006.jpg

Pierce through to the boss room at the bottom of the site, and you’ll meet up with Impact Man himself. As a robot who likes to get right to the point, don’t be surprised if he tries to impale you at the very start of the fight. At first, this building ‘bot seems pretty straightforward, with simple attacks such as jumping into the air and slamming down, or dashing across the room before crashing into the wall. With a spike that goes through metal and an ensuing explosion that would make Blast Man proud, you’ll definitely want to keep your distance when you see him getting ready to dash. Don’t count him out too early, though; when he activates his Power Gear, he becomes an unstoppable force, attempting to pulverize you with his souped-up form.

Mega-Man-11_2018_08-31-18_007.jpg

Your reward for punching out Impact Man is a spike of your very own, the aptly named Pile Driver. It’s great for dashing horizontally at high speeds, temporarily sticking to anything solid you impact before shoving off with an explosion and doing severe damage to enemies. By utilizing the Power Gear, you’ll get a longer dash and a more powerful explosion! Pile Driver makes a great way to get across gaps or to cover ground swiftly, and can even pierce straight through weaker enemies. It’s a great choice for completing stages quickly, or for clever movement tricks as long as you have the weapon energy to use it.

Mega-Man-11_2018_08-31-18_008.jpg

We can’t wait to see how you all put this unique weapon to use when Mega Man 11 comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 2nd. If you’re in Seattle for PAX West this year, you won’t have to wait much longer to try it out for yourself: we have a Mega Man 11 demo with both Pile Driver and Block Man’s Block Dropper available to try, alongside Mega Man’s trusty Mega Buster and the help of Rush with Rush Coil! Of course, those weapons wouldn’t be any good without stages to try them in, and we’re bringing four playable stages to the show: Block Man, Fuse Man, Torch Man, and Impact Man.

Mega Man 11 is due out worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 2.

Mega Man 11 demo now available for Switch, launches September 7 for PS4 and Xbox One
Published 2 days ago. 22 comments.
Plus details on Bounce Man, the latest Robot Master.

Mega-Man-11_2018_09-06-18_000.jpg

A demo for Mega Man 11 is available now for Switch, and will launch on September 7 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Capcom announced. The demo allows users to play the Block Man stage with Rush by your side in three difficulty settings.

In addition to the demo release, Capcom also shared information about the game’s latest Robot Master, Bounce Man. Get the details below.

Mega-Man-11_2018_09-06-18_001.jpg

With a spring in his step and a cheerful outlook, Bounce Man makes for one unlikely Robot Master in Mega Man 11. Compared to the angular Impact Man who’s driven to a point, the concerns of modern robot life simply bounce off of this smooth, round Robot Master. Don’t let appearances fool you, though; Bounce Man’s stage might just stretch you to your limits!

Mega-Man-11_2018_09-06-18_002.jpg

Originally an exercise instructor, Bounce Man’s brightly-colored body and friendly appearance have made him a smash hit with children and adults alike. Despite taking over an indoor wonderland as his own personal playground, Bounce Man still views everything as a playful game, bouncing off the walls with joy the moment Mega Man enters his chamber. Before you reach this rubbery robot, you’ll have to hop to it and navigate your way through the vibrant Boing-Boing Park.

True to its name, Boing-Boing Park is dedicated to safety first. You’ll rarely need to worry about falling into pits thanks to the noble efforts of Tosanizer V, a robot designed to keep people from jumping across gaps. Spikes are nowhere to be seen either, save for small, spiky robots called Gabyoalls patrolling along the ground that are installed for security. All that safety comes at a cost, though; bounding all over the place can make it difficult to get to where you want to go! True to its name, Boing-Boing Park will have you springing off the walls, the floor, and maybe the ceiling on occasion thanks to large parts of the stage being covered in brightly colored rubber balls that keep you on and off your toes at all times.

Mega-Man-11_2018_09-06-18_003.jpg

To further complicate things, bright, spherical robots Boyorn and Poyorn will tumble around, protected by a thick rubber armor that allows them to take significant damage while happily bouncing about. You might be tempted to blast them on sight, but their high resistance to damage and tendency to rebound off of everything makes it safer to leave them alone if you can help it. However you decide to tackle this stage, you’ll want to keep an eye out for solid ground to take a breather every now and then.

You’ll encounter all sorts of unusual platforming perils along the way, such as hands that recoil for a few seconds when you shoot them, only to swing around in a mighty slap when their timer runs out. They won’t cause any damage to Mega Man and are useful for crossing larger gaps that you may not be able to reach otherwise. Careful as you’re bouncing around, though; Bunby Balloons, robots designed to search for lost children, often seem to float right into your jumps. Their balloons are armored, making them difficult to pierce with regular attacks… and raising a lot of questions about how these robots stay afloat to begin with.

Mega-Man-11_2018_09-06-18_004.jpg

As you spring ever upwards through this vertical stage, you’ll eventually encounter the massive, dangerous, terrifying… Frog Balloon? Despite being a mid-boss, this famous mascot of Boing-Boing Park is rather cute. Much like the rest of the stage, looks can be deceiving; Frog Balloon has a way of catching you off guard with his stretchy tongue, capturing Mega Man before crashing into him. Unleash everything you have to deflate him when he’s not hopping about, but keep your wits about you! The diligent Pump Master K is always around to patch things up if Frog Balloon pops. You’ll need to burst Pump Master K’s bubble if you want to take out Frog Balloon for good.

Mega-Man-11_2018_09-06-18_005.jpg

Once you’ve made the final climb to Bounce Man’s chamber, he’s all ready to show off his skills to a new playmate. As his name might suggest, Bounce Man likes to tumble around the room, rebounding off the walls before crashing into Mega Man. He still seems a bit unaware that he’s supposed to be a force for evil, but nevertheless uses the Speed Gear to bounce around at high speed as the fight goes on. Utilizing your own Speed Gear can make life a bit easier, and a solid shot from the Power Gear can turn the tide in your favor – though the extreme force might have unintended consequences on Bounce Man’s systems!

Mega-Man-11_2018_09-06-18_006.jpg

He may be tough as rubber, but if you can best him, you’ll grab a weapon befitting of this Robot Master: Bounce Ball. Firing three rubber balls in front of Mega Man that can be tilted up or down, each projectile will rebound off the walls and enemies for a bit before bursting in a spray of confetti. You can have several shots on screen at once, and unleash colorful chaos with the Power Gear to fire off an additional three bouncy balls behind you with every use.

Mega Man 11 Tundra Man trailer, details, and screenshots
Published 8 hours ago. 10 comments.
A Robot Master with a penchant for ice skating and a flair for the theatric.

Capcom has released new video, information, and screenshots of Mega Man 11 detailing Robot Master Tundra Man.

Get the details below.

”Want to dance? Feel freeze!” Tundra Man, a Robot Master with a penchant for ice skating and a flair for the theatric, has just been revealed for Mega Man 11! This elegant boss is sure to be a fan favorite, so read on for more about the marvelous Robot Master and his sinister stage set in a museum that’s been frozen to its core.

Mega-Man-11_2018_09-19-18_001.jpg

In a past life, Tundra Man was a surveying robot, designed to keep track of various environmental changes in some of the coldest places on the planet. With no one else around except a few animals and a television to keep him company, Tundra Man found a new purpose watching an ice skating championship on TV. Ever since that fateful day, Tundra Man has dedicated his life to the fine art of figure skating, and now claims a frozen museum as his new lair with the hopes of one day displaying his icy art form to the world.

Mega-Man-11_2018_09-19-18_002.jpg

Unlike the (relative) safety of Boing-Boing Park, the museum is a much more hazardous place. The floors, walls, and ceilings are covered with dangerous icicles, and true to classic Mega Man games, a single run-in with spikes can spell doom for our hero! Be sure to tread carefully, as getting around on the slippery, icy floors can be a difficult task on its own. You’ll have to stay on your feet and ensure you’re keeping a grip on things to avoid sliding into stray enemies like robotic snowflakes that lazily drift down from the sky, or birds that drop frozen blocks of ice on Mega Man’s head. Keep an eye out for stray Gabyoall security robots, too – this classic floor-hugging enemy becomes an even bigger threat when you’re sliding around.

You may be on thin ice in this stage, but that doesn’t mean it’s all doom and gloom. You’re still in a museum, so think of it like you’re taking in exhibits. Watch your step as you go, take things slow and steady to avoid nasty run-ins with spikes and pits, and maybe give yourself a moment to appreciate the sights. Most museums ask you nicely not to touch the exhibits, but this marvel of technological archaeology is decidedly more hands-on when you get to the mid-boss.

I present to you this specimen from an unknown era: a robot platform carrying around the skeleton of a mechanical mastodon. While you may be tempted to aim for the mastodon on top, don’t be fooled – it’s the platform below that makes up the brain of the operation. For something so large, this duo is surprisingly agile! You’ll need to put all your skills to use to avoid being hit by damaging attacks as it crashes around the room. The icicles that drop from the ceiling can do some serious damage to a certain blue robot caught underneath, but they might have more than one use if you keep your wits about you. After you send this mid-boss back to the Stone Age, you’ll be able to glide on to Tundra Man’s lair.

Tundra Man gives Mega Man the cold shoulder as he makes his grand entrance, complete with stage lights to highlight his big moment. Ready to show off his impressive ice skating skills to a captive audience, Tundra Man will skate along the ice-covered floor of his lair while throwing in a few aerial twists and graceful pirouettes for good measure. Although he may be difficult to hit as he whirls around at high speeds, his natural need for showmanship in between attacks can provide just the opening you need to land some powerful shots. Tundra Man can be tough to take down – he was built for arctic exploration and research, after all – but with careful movement or the right Robot Master weapon, you can shatter his icy veneer and claim his weapon for your own.

Defeating Tundra Man will equip you with Tundra Storm, channeling Tundra Man’s graceful aerial twists to create a column of icy winds in an attack that can hit enemies above and below the Blue Bomber. If you really want to send your foes into a deep freeze, turn on the Power Gear for a frozen blast that covers the entire screen!

Mega Man 11 is due out worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 2. A demo is available now on consoles.

The Mega Man intellectual property will be adapted into a live-action Hollywood film for the first time, property holder Capcom announced.

The film, tentatively titled Mega Man, will be written and directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, and distributed by 20th Century Fox. Chernin Entertainment, which is responsible for the Planet of the Apes series, will produce the movie with Masi Oka, of Heroes fame. Capcom aims to appeal to a diverse audience, including both game players and action movie fans, in an adaption that “maintains the world of the Mega Man games, while incorporating the grand production and entertainment value that Hollywood movies are known for.”

A release date for the movie was not announced.

The latest entry in the Mega Man series, Mega Man 11, launched on October 2 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

I like that they gave you a difficulty selection which absolutely won't help against the brutal platforming and level layouts. Blockman stage was a *****, but I got through it. Now I'm in Acid Man's stage and I want to break something.

It was some trial and error, but I discovered that Fuse Man is the most susceptible to the mega buster.

MEGA MAN 11 Producer Possibly Hints At New MEGA MAN Title Being In The Works
While this is no way confirmed, Mega Man 11producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya low-key reveals that they are currently working on a new Mega Man game; thanks Mega Man 11 fans for their support.Read more

When Capcom announced Mega Man 11 during the Mega Man 30th Anniversary celebration stream in December of 2017, a lot of people were excited but still had their reservations given Capcom's history of cancelling Mega Man-related projects in the past.

Mega Man 11 was finally released in October of this year, getting praise from critics and players alike for bringing back the series back to its former glory. Because of the positive reception the game had, fans have begun wondering if Capcom could do the same for the Mega Man X series; especially since the game has been teased by the developer quite a bit over the course of the year.

New information has recently surfaced online, possibly hinting that a new Mega Man title could already be in the works or in some very early stages of development. In a recent issue of 4Gamer, Mega Man 11 producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya reveals that he and his development team are already preparing for their big next project.

"In 2018, we were able to safely release Mega Man 11. This is also a thank-you to all of the game fans. In 2019, I would like to make steady preparations for what’s next, so there may not be any major action, but I hope you can all watch over me with warm eyes…!"

While this is in no way confirmation that a specific Mega Man 11 sequel is in the works, chances are that the next title the team will be working on next year is Mega Man X9. With the release of Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2, as well as Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 plus Mega Man 11, Capcom has realised that there is still interest in the Mega Man series, so all we have to do now is keep our fingers crossed and wait for that inevitable Mega Man X9 announcement in the coming months.

Mega Man is back! The newest entry in this iconic series blends classic, challenging 2D platforming action with a fresh new visual style. The new Double Gear system boosts Mega Man's speed and power for a new twist to the satisfying gameplay the series is known for.
Mega Man 11 is currently available on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam.

Good, that means we’ll probably get another MM.
