Synder definitely has a passion for Superman. I love his subtle jabs at Thor!

Considering that Zack played in huge part of the casting, I think he's gonna make his best movie yet. This might be his redemption song.
I hope that is the case. However, Zack's best might not be good enough.

Lex is also in it. Just not cast yet
Is he? Well, at least Zod is there to be a bad guy.

Superman - Hey where did you learn how to fight

Zod - The Matrix movies

Supes: Where'd you learn how to speak English?

Zod: The World Wide Web....ell-oh-ell...

I have worries about ZS but I'm not a one of his dislikers or haters. Not saying it does to you but boxoffice doesn't equal a good or bad film to me. He has had a string of flops/disappointments so he is going to have to prove himself to the general moviegoer again but coming off of a well liked hit movie does not always mean that people are going to love your newest film, as Superman Returns proved. ZS only has to nail this film, he shouldn't worry about what his past films did as far as boxoffice is concerned because that means nothing when it comes to this film. Besides WB and Nolan are going to be breathing down his neck so it's not like this is going to be 100% his film.

My problem with Zack is that, he doesn't try to outdo himself narrative-wise. Not only are his visuals beautiful but there's a disconnection. There's also disconnection with the script(s), so that's why his movies divide so many people. It's as if he's emotionally immature or something..

I think that he has big flaws as a director but he gets too much flack, especially in a world where Michael Bay is a hit maker and people for some reason actually dig his atrocious output.

EDIT:

I think kal just needs to deal with the fact that Zod is in the film and he has a large role. I'm disappointed too but it's happening.

Well, Nolan likes Bay movies, so it all comes full circle.

I think Nolan would have the respect to let him make his own film, regardless of how it turns out. WB is a different story.

But I think Zack needs some guidance along the way. He needs a leash.

There are also people who claim they hate Bay, yet still see all of his movies. Idiots.

Nolan's movies are so f**king pretentous that I'm happy that he likes such an awful brain dead director as that means that he does have a sense of humor.

P.S

I love Nolan's movies and Inception was my favorite film of last year so please don't get your panties in a bunch about my observation about his films.

Certainly, to ensure the quality of the picture. But I get the perspective of giving him some creative control.

It's a balance issue.

Shannon has that menacing look to him. Could be awesome, this one. Slugster's manip makes for a very nice poster. Wouldn't mind something like this:

People who don't want to see a Zod who knows martial arts, 100% disagree. That would make him a better fighter than Superman and more of a threat with the same powers. It shouldn't just be flight crashing and crap. Zod's skill as a soldier need used.

pretty good manip, but is Zod holding Kryptonite? wouldn't that effect him as well?

You have a point about Nolan but WB ain't letting him do whatever he wants after Sucker Punch's boxoffice and reception. I'm not saying that they are going to turn into Fox but I do believe that they will be telling him to tone down his more annoying instinics and make a more normal film.

Who's got their panties in a bunch?
That was in case one of the crazed Nolan fans, once again, accused me of being a hater because I said something less than glowing about their lord and master.
