Rogue should be like Peter Petrelli in some form.

They could developt her powers if want it, and making she can have more than one power at the same time, and not necesary permanetly, just during hours or something.

Oh, yes, definitely give her some other powers on a temporary basis. That IS her power, after all: taking other peoples' powers. I'd like to see her take these powers:

BOBBY: Bobby breaks up with her after she takes the cure, and when she comes back, he's together with Kitty. When he first sees her, his heart bleeds for her, but he quickly closes his heart to her and makes some sarcastic comments about her taking the cure to fend off his feelings for her. He doesn't know that she has her powers back, though, so she shows him: she lays one on him right in front of Kitty until he passes out. This marks a change in her attitude toward her powers: experimenting with Bobby's powers, she realizes that she herself is powerful.

GAMBIT: She briefly takes his powers to show him her powers when they meet. Just a sexy little Gambit/Rogue touch for fun.

MYSTIQUE: Gambit and Rogue break into Senator Graydon Creed's office in an attempt to learn more about Sentinels. When Mystique was a human, she worked her way into Creed's office as his secretary so she could give information to the Brotherhood (run by Pyro while Magneto was gone, though Magneto takes over when his powers return). When Mystique's powers returned, she killed Creed and assumed his identity (the family ties don't exist, though Creed still hates mutants for the same reasons as in the comics). Gambit and Rogue fight Mystique when they accidentally meet in Creed's office, Rogue finally taking Mystique down with a leg scissor (the bare legs draining energy thing I was talking about earlier). She uses Mystique's agility and strength to fight her, then uses her shapeshifting abilities to escape.

MAGNETO: By the end of the movie, the Brotherhood and the X-Men team up to take on the Sentinels. I'm not entirely sure of this part, but I'm thinking that Magneto stays out of the actual fight in the same way Xavier always did. In chess, you never play the king unless you absolutely have to. Instead, Rogue takes his powers and fights in his place. It would be a great way to show how Rogue has grown up since X1, when his powers were forced on her and she couldn't control them.

Of course, with Gambit in the Wolverine movie, Gambit/Rogue in the movies seems even less likely than before. =/

There aren't really any opportunities in my X4 for Rogue to take more than one power at the same time, unless there were a reason she would have to quickly swipe powers from one of her teammates during the final battle. In my X5, though, I'm sure she would, since she would have Pyro's powers on a permanent basis. My X5 features Apocalypse and the Four Horsemen, and I'd like the Four Horsemen to include Archangel and Wolverine. I'd love to see Rogue fight Wolverine in the final battle, even if only for like 30 seconds before she gets help. She would take Wolverine's powers while still infused with Pyro's.

Once Rogue has absorbed the powers, she's absorbed them. She wouldn't have to go back and re-absorb to gain more power. The longer she holds on, the longer the powers last, but the period of touch has nothing to do with the potency of power.

That's comic Rogue. This is movie Rogue. It would work.


As for Pyro... Nobody knows that Rogue. I was there when she was invented and the Rogue that became popular was the Ms. Marvel Rogue. That's the Rogue that will work, not Emo Rogue from X-Men Evolution, not Fire Rogue from whoever was the genius who took away her super strength,

Powerhouse Rogue is THE Rogue. All others pale in comparison.

if Rogue had a better part in X3, I would've luv to see her develop her super strength n flight and during the Danger Room scene it would have been interesting to see Storm teaching her how to fly...basically it would have been funny seeing Iceman, Shawdowcat,Colossus and Rogue blundering in the Danger Room...and by the time of the final battle Rogue would've have been flying and fighting...

Singer movies were about "Evolution" and actually in X2 Rogue was supposed have her powers evolve, but the idea got cut, so if the idea of evolution continued in Ratners version it would've been cool n Rogue another storyline....

For a new rogue i think we should replace the old actress with Eliza Dushku and give her her super strength and flight powers. cant possibly go wrong there

i think replacing the actress is a bad idea. To replace someone who has played a character for so long it would do the movie wrong. So many would be used to Anna and may not like the new girl.

Yeah, Anna is great, the problem is the writers who are making her weak. but maybe if they do a 4th it can take place yrs. later and have Anna play a tough Rogue. it would be believable.

it seems her character acts like Rogue would do. I'll see the whole season, just to imagine Anna as Rogue in X4,

Still... i think Eliza Dushku has that rough girl edge that Rouge needs.

I think that she may be too rough, plus Anna can pull more emotion on screen than Eliza I think.

i think this upcoming 08-09 tv lineup. idk...for upcoming Fox tv shows ive been hearing alot about Fringe but not so much Dollhouse,but thats when im assuming it comes out.
