Me too. Just have to hook up the GameCube.

Figuring out the cords though must be confusing.

I do miss the bulky TVs and putting the three metal thingies when connecting players/consoles into the TV.

Does Nintendo releasing their consoles in-between Sony and Microsoft give them an advantage when it comes to press, etc.?

Frankly, Nintendo doesn't give a **** what the other two are doing. Switch was first of that gen, because the Wii U failed hard. And covid screwed up their Pro plans, so this gen has been a bit longer.

I will say, with the NG4 announcement, I am placing my Bayo 4 announcement in April down in expectations.

id Tech is one of the most well-optimized game engines out there thanks to the talented programmers at id.

The recent Doom and Wolfenstein games are a testament to that. Even the Indiana Jones game, which is based on a fork of id Tech, is well optimized.

I kinda dread the future now that many game studios are moving to Unreal Engine...

Capcom is looking to try and sell the next gen of the RE engine, so there may be some competition.

I'd love to see Madden on Switch 2.

Crazy that the last Madden game on a Nintendo console was '13. Thirteen years ago.

They completely skipped the Switch era.

Hard to support a console when the competition was pushing 4K at 30fps while Nintendo was still struggling with 1080p at 30.
