So is it just me, or does Fe look like a 3D version of Ori and the Blind Forest?

Blazblue Cross Tag Battle will release on June 5.

Seems to have issues with content, though.

I can't wait for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze on Switch. I never got round to buying it for my Wii U, but the Switch version will automatically be the go-to for me. Portability v only being able to play it in the house - a no brainer.

Me too, I loved it on the Wii u. Wonder if it will get an upgrade?

I would love a new one

Really glad this console has done so well.

So I have been wanting to get a switch and finally was able to this weekend. Absolutely love it I got Odyssey and Zelda. Been playing Odyssey non stop.

So, now there is talk about "something" being revealed on Thur.

After the drama with the last direct, I need a break from the hype train.

Following its Japanese launch on January 18, Mercenaries Saga Chronicles will launch for Switch via the Nintendo eShop in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand in February, publisher Circle Entertainment announced.

Here is an overview of the game, via Circle Entertainment:
About
Featuring Mercenaries Saga: Will of the White Lions, Mercenaries Saga 2: Order of the Silver Eagle, and Mercenaries Saga 3: Gray Wolves of War, Mercenaries Saga Chronicles assembles the heroes from this fantastic series in one collection.

Includes:

  • For the first time on a console platform, Mercenaries Saga: Will of the White Lions features Leon, the commander of the White Lions mercenaries. He’s hired to fight against bandits and monsters, but unexpected events draw him into war.
  • Mercenaries Saga 2: Order of the Silver Eagle features Claude, the captain of the Kingdom’s Order of the Silver Eagle team. Unable to protect Prince Laz from the poison of an assassin, he sets off on a mission to find the antidote.
  • Mercenaries Saga 3: Gray Wolves of War features Marion, the commander of the Gray Wolves mercenaries. He works with the Kingdom’s forces to deal with the uprising of the Liberation Army.
Features for this Switch release:

  • A total of 82 campaign chapters, in which your decisions lead to different routes and endings.
  • Numerous Free Battles allow you to power-up characters while offering extra challenges.
  • Multiple difficulty settings are available – clearing the game once increases the challenge further!
  • Maps with variable terrains that are decisive in battle – take advantage of your starting position to assist teammates and strike enemies in the back.
  • Buy and sell items, and then synthesize them into more powerful gear.
  • Change classes to acquire high class skills, and use SP to master them.
  • Enhanced gameplay experience on the Nintendo Switch: redesigned to perfectly fit a 16:9 resolution. The system improvements from Mercenaries Saga 3, such as Hate display and minion summoning skills, are also implemented for Mercenaries Saga 1 & 2 in this new Chronicles release.
Thanks, Nintendo Everything.

There are no rumors floating about what this could be. I'm really curious.

Yeah, it sounds like those who have seen it, have been hit with a super NDA, so they are scared to hint about it.

Could be a new peripheral for the Switch? I've seen it suggested it could be like a kids mode parents can engage in the UI, but there's really no reason for that. The Switch UI is super bare bones and there's no voice chat or text chat for kids to get in trouble with.

I guess I was right about the peripheral announcement. Didn't think the peripheral would be cardboard. I'm also guessing this is gonna be unreasonably expensive too. I don't know who this is for.

Nintendo, you go on continuing to be Nintendo. Did not expect that. And now, Nintendo has ALL the peripherals. I almost wonder if we are going to get a cheaper, Labo version of the Switch. I guess it depends on if the software that comes with the starter packs contains a downloadable code or a cartridge.

But wow, what a cool idea for kids.

I mean, I guess it's cool if you want something like that, but holy ****, is that some expensive cardboard.

$70 for some cardbaord? Come on. They'll make a killing on these. I'm sure it's pennies to make, or at the most, $1-$2. The markup is hilariously expensive.

They will apparently be offering the cardboard patterns for free. So the bulk of the cost is likely the cartridge.

Essentially it's $60 for the game and $10 for the cardboard kits. The robot one is $20 cause well it looks like it's the most complex to assemble. I can definitely see this doing great with kids and parents.

I have to say, how they are using the technology in the joycons to do some of these things is down right amazing. HD rumble to move an RC car. Tracking marked spots on string with the camera.

I honestly wonder if Iwata thought of any of this. Or this just came up from Nintendo looking at VR, and how it is super expensive thing, and said, go cardboard for the kiddies.

If it was anyone else but Nintendo I would think it was hilarious but this is definitely the sort of thing that would be heaps of fun coming from them

After all these years Nintendo continues to surprise me, and I mean that in a good way. This could end up being brilliant.
