8bitdo?First thing I did is buy a Pro Controller. Expensive but worth it. I'm not a fan of the joy cons.
No, Nintendo's official Switch 2 Pro Controller. Last one they had in stock at the store too.8bitdo?
Pro 2 8BitDo
Play like a Pro with 8BitDo’s most advanced retro controller, now upgraded with Hall Effect joysticks. Compatible with Switch, Windows, Apple, Android, and more.www.8bitdo.com
The Joy-Cons and even the Pro controller tend to drift eventually so the 8BitDo controllers with hall-effect joysticks are definitely an upgrade.
So 8BitDo recently updated the Pro 2 with hall-effect sticks? I see it's currently -20% on Amazon but as a Canuck who's boycotting Amazon I'll have to settle with my old Ultimate.
I have two Switch 1 Pros and neither has drifted in the slightest in several years. I did have the problem with the original PS5 controller though. The Joy-Cons and even the Pro controller tend to drift eventually so the 8BitDo controllers with hall-effect joysticks are definitely an upgrade.

I checked earlier and they had Amazon US/UK links but I didn't look under the "Shop" menu. You can buy directly from their site. Though I suspect, they do some warehousing with Amazon.
The Joy-Cons on my Switch were starting to drift when I gave it to my niece. I never owned the Pro controller but I had a co-worker that owned two and both drifted, and he told me he barely used them.I have two Switch 1 Pros and neither has drifted in the slightest in several years.
