Can Pirates Catch Spiderman 3 world wide box office total.
According TO Box Office Guru. Spiderman 3 is at 879 million and some change and AWE is at 871 million and some change. Can these two actually have a worldwide tie or can Awe squike by just by a hair.

I give this movie two thumbs up. 8.5/10

Keira and Geoffry were Outstanding followed by Johnny and Orli, etc. The movie as a whole was just, more better than DMC, though if only Norrington was not killed off so easily. I have my nitpicks here and there but yet, they're so small, I don't really pay too much attention to them. Hey- its a pirate film anyway. what can you expect?

Lol. I thought the scene with Elizabeth giving up all her dangerous weapons in Singapore hilarious. haha. One of my fave scenes. Sexy too.

I agree with you on the Norrington part I liked him, and Rush and Knighley where great in the film.

Singapore scene was funny.

i was listening to the soundtrack again and the part where will and liz kiss always sounded a bit like it was from gone with the wind. today i listened to gone with the wind theme and it is the same. nice touch though. wonder if it was on purpose?

Really? That's interesting, I love that piece of music  But thinking of it, it does sound a bit like Gone With the Wind...

How about this for a next villian. How about in pirates 4 we have a ghost ship captain by Captain Flint. We know of Flint from treasure island as a feared pirate but never seen him.

Yeah, but how is he going to get involved with the storyline? What's his purpose?

i wonder what the new villians will even look like....first there was skeletons, then sea creatures...whats next, skeleton seacreatures?

I love how the camera zooms around as Elizabeth and William kiss. I thought it was beautifully done especially with the music.

By the way, the Soundtrack is so awsome. I love it. Its my fave pirate ST to date.

and who says theres going to be a Pirates4? I wouldn't count on it, but if there is going to be another, great...but it won't be the same without Keira and Orlando unless... hmm I dunno but I felt their story ended with the ending after the credits in At World's End and I thought it was well done.

saw AWE for the 3rd time today... it gets better each time. esp knowing that nearly and hour is cut out of it. however, has anyone else noticed that Johnny Depp is in the movie less and less...he was on screen the most in CotBP, then DMC, and least in AWE... Barbossa is in nearly every scene, not a bad thing, but i want to see Jack. hopefully in 4 its back to CotBP basics with more jack, and more of jack's CotBP personality as opposed to DMC and half of AWE

Whats wrong with more Barbossa?! lol A fourth with him and Jack should prove satisfying. Everyone is wondering about the villians. I cant remember the exact line, but in AWE during the pirate lord meeting Barbossa made a wonderful comment along these lines. Something like 'To long we have been dealing with mystical sea gods.' Wish I knew the exact line, but it was along those lines. The fourth can have the usual movie magic, however I wouldn't mind more pirate action. Perhaps the Pearl can go back to 'leaving no survivors.'

I did also feel that there was less Jack, which is a shame but Beckett and Barbossa had more screentime which is good! lol And poor Norrington, how much screentime did he have? About 5 minutes! Disgraceful!
Yeah, but 4th film needs more Jack, I'm not saying the other character aren't good, but like Jack Sparrow, the best pirate! XD

Is this the line?
There is a third course. In another age, at this very spot, the first court captured the sea goddess, and bound her in her bones. That was a mistake. Oh, we tamed the seas for ourselves, aye, but opened the door to Beckett and his ilk. Better were the days when mastery of seas came not from bargains struck with eldritch creatures, but from the sweat of a man's brow and the strength of his back alone. Y'all know this to be true. Gentlemen, ladies. We must free Calypso.

oh dont get me wrong, i love barbossa, i thought his performance was the best in AWE. i loved the scene with the dead kraken, and Barbossa talking to Jack like he was mentoring him...

as for more pirates...2 prequels or 2 sequels is fine by me... if its a prequel, i want jack and barbossas story, tied in with the Davy Jones Debt, and MORE SAO FENG, prequel would be perfect for more Feng.

also after seeing AWE a 3rd time, the dialogue and story is more connected with DMC than i thought... it might not show certain key scenes, but dialogue and short shots hint at stuff....like Becket and Jacks meeting....Beckett says 'betrayal' and it shows jacks pirate mark...so it does hint at jack working for the EITC and betraying him....or jack coulda started out as a pirate...faked working for the EITC to get inside info and stuff, and getting caught (i would assume jack was always a pirate since Teague has been)

I think Teague's found immortality somehow. Will is the Pirate Queen.
