talk about being pissed off. i went to the movies tonight with my folks. saw santa clause 3...trailer after trailer. nothing. nada. no pirates. im 20 years old and sat through a movie meant for 3 year olds nothing short of ******ed. and then to worsen my night, i get on here and not a damn person has seen the trailer haha, nor is it online. but atleast spiderman 3 trailer is coming out earlier than Casino Royale now....thats a plus

I wasn't expectinga a trailer not until they released the dvd information for teh 2 disc set of Dead Mans Chest. I mean they just filmed the water fall scenes for the special effects grafting to the film to look like worlds end. I say it will be soon but not before december 5th. I mean its not released until may 25th 2007

Yes they did. They OFFICIALY announced it and I even posted the link to it while back... And it isnt early. Spiderman comes out like next summer and the first trailer was in like May.

I do agree, it wouldnt be that soon. They've had footage since June when they showed some people the stuff at Comiccon.

You know this is wierd, alot of rumors went out about it being with SC3 but it clearly wasnt, because there's no hype.

Well guys, look to the bright side. Jerry Bruckheimer did say that they would probably put the teaser trailer for POTC 3 on POTC 2's DVD, hitting shelves December 5th. (1 month!!!!!!!)

So...it won't be long.

well Ive had 2 friends tell me they saw the trailer and its fantastic... they said its hardly a teaser with a good bit of footage....ends with Next Year...Captain Jack Attacks...also has a clip of Keith Richards. man i cant wait til this comes online.

Though I must admit my anticipation to see this film, I daresay it is not the best of ideas to hang around waiting for the trailer. You'll all see it eventually, and sooner or later, the movie itself.

That very comment discription is what was posting on a few sights. They likely wanted to show off so they just repeated what was on the trailer script.
NOt saying they never seen it for i can't relate for I am not going to see Santa Clause 3 or that terrible movie Borat. I am saving my movie going for 3 movie left this year. Eragon, Casino Royale and Blood Diamond.

I hate to tell you guys but this type of franchise can hold more then 3 movies. This isn't Lucas here or Zak Penn writing them but Ted and Terry. Orlando and Kiera are likely holding out for more money. They think they are as big as Johnny Depp now and want big money. Orlando got lucky with Rings and rode its wave and Kiera has a high head. Many actress would kill to have chance to be part of such a franchise.

I think its time for a change anywho. What should happen is this very fact? Johnny has other adventures with differant people. Get some fresh blood into the series for Jack to play off of. I say Johnny and Geoffrey in the cast you can get new blood and it still would work.
