I wouldn't mind a jack Sparrow spin-off.

Why not? all the rest of the characters are pretty much throw aways.
nothing interesting or unique about them, excpt for Barbossa, and some of the
secondary characters, which you could probably still fit in easily.
But Johnny's also getting up there in age. I wonder how much longer he'll be able to play the character, or maybe they'll actually let the character age.

I think its time for a change any how. What should happen is this very fact? Johnny has other adventures with differant people. Get some fresh blood into the series for Jack to play off of. I say Johnny and Geoffrey in the cast you can get new blood and it still would work.

I remember when the first one came out Jerry Brukheimer said he would be making 3. He said it would be a trilogy and no more. Anything could happen but I would like it to end at 3 personally. No cliffhanger like X3 or Pirates 2 for this one.

if there is a 4th, id love to see a prequel to Curse of the Black Pearl, like showing how Jack got the pearl, the mutiny, and ending with an explanation of the beginning of Curse of the Black Pearl (the pirates sinking that one ship and young will turner being rescued, then elizabeth seeing the black pearl leaving)

Well we're not sure. Im sure Disney would love too, considering the profit these films are getting. but Orlando and Keira dont wont to come back. However Depp said he would love to come back for more films. So we dont know yet...

From what i heard a while back from a Gore interview and a few cast members. Including Orlando Bloom without no Kiera mentioning. The end on Pirates 3 leaves it open for a a sequel. Basically it ends like 1 but some people are in worser places and the search for immortality for one is what the end leaves open.

I say end it with a third and do a prequel of Jack getting the Pearl, Davyy Jones becoming what he is, Jack macking a deal with Davy and when Jack met Barbossa. Barbossa, Jack and Bill on an adventure and in end, Bootstrap sent down to the bottem of Davy Jones' locker and Jack being marooned.
