I agree that he would be a perfect choice,he could balance the dark charisma with the theatrical nature of the Joker better than anyone IMO

They went on hiatus so they could finish Dead Man's Chest then they'll finish this fall. Kinda like how they did with Superman and Superman II, only they're not going to fire Gore for McG like they did with Donner for Lester.

Depp has claimed he wouldn't mind working on more, and if the third does well enough at the box office, I wouldn't be surprised if a fourth were made.

I hope they dont make any more then three because that would just kill it. I'm curious as to how he would play the Joker but no doubt it would be great to see. Johnny Depp just pulls these portrayls from out of thin air.

I'm hoping that the "end of the world" in this movie is literally the end of the world. I can see this movie doing something like having the world just stop and have a giant waterfall into an abyss. I think that would be amazing to see. I really hope they do that.

Depp says he is up to doing six. There is talk for atleasta 4th. the ending or 3 kinda leaves things open for a fourth. I also heard of a prequel to show Jack, Bootstrap, Barbossa, Davy Jones characters more and without Will and Elizabeth if Orlando and Kiera won't return. Johnny says he doesn't want his character to be over for he's having a ball playing him.
