The whole point about Joker is that his very existence is a mystery. You don't know his real name, where he came from and what made him crazy.

With Piccolo we know he's been imprisoned 2000 years ago and somehow he's just back. You'd think after he has been imprisoned, he'd been kept captive in a secret location that only the monks know of, keeping him guarded. No, he hast just been imprisoned in a container and then apparently been dumped in someone's backyard. Then the lid must have someday sprung open.

So the 2 are different how? they both dont explain ****.

I can respect people who can give some reason for their opinions besides other people are just being too picky even though these elements are important for a coherent well-made movie or that other people are being too blinded by the source material even though all the major complaints have absolutely nothing to do with the source material. I have a limit to how much I can tolerate a simple difference of opinions.

It's actually funny because my friends were worrying how Piccolo looked too different and this and that and I can just go and tell them that it doesn't even matter because those things are the least of this movie's problems. Piccolo only shows up for like 15 minutes, it doesn't even matter how he looks like.

I doubt there will even be an speculation for a sequel after the box office return. Maybe a few tools will pipe up and say something about the DVD sales making enough money, but I suspect after everyone properly expressed their hatred for everything this film is and everything it represents then this forum will be quietly closed down.

Not childish man... Angry. Im really pissed off of what Fox did to this movie. I feel I have been lied and manipulated into thinking this was going to be good. It was ********. It was an insult to anybody´s intelligence. They dont explain anything in this movie and the dialogue, acting, fights, everything is bad and stupid.

well to say the least i was very disappointed in spidey3 being a big spiderman fan but i still found something to enjoy of the movie regardless how i felt they butchered things. The acting and fights wernt terrible or even bad, the fight scenes were to few but not bad.

Seriously, this movie isnt even good for non-fans. They are going to get out of the movie theaters confused and thinking this is DB and they will think DB is pure crap like this movie, when its not.

I would think that a movie made for children that you would have enjoyed this. You are the usual liberal person that want equality and respect of everyones opinions especially your own until someone disagrees with you then its them being stupid. It was just about how I expected it to be. A fun popcorn flick. Not the worst film ever, but obviously not the best. My main critique is that it is obvious so much was cut. I hope there is a directors cut.

Special Effects - 8/10
Acting - 7/10
Score - 8/10
Pacing - 5/10
Action - 6/10

Overall I'd give it 7/10.

Well I somehow saw it... I'll post a review-thingy here before I go have a shower and leave to see my recruiter.

hmmm... of all the boards in the world I'd have thought this one would welcome something this ridiculous with open arms. The yamcha ass on fire scene is PURE DRAGONBALL. Goku eating the turkey out of no where, wtf, I'll take it! Maybe we're all too old for this now or something... But yeah if I was 10, this would be my favorite movie. Take your kids, don't listen to a bunch of whiny nerds online, parents. The kids will love this.

As for where it stands compared to other movies, I'd say it's slightly better than transformers, on par with spidey 1, (in fact, it's very similar to spidey 1 but doesn't take itself as seriously), No where near star wars, so don't even think it. Um, it's about as good as speed racer I guess. If you liked that, you'll certainly like this and ****.

yeah, that's kinda ridiculous. i understand people have their own opinions, but when you look at it from a LOGICAL and TECHNICAL standpoint there is no way that DB:E is better than Transformers.

Its obvious JP gave this movie 7, same as Jappo/Adam will probably give it a good rating too (im especulating here, Jappo hasnt given his opinion yet, I hope he proves me wrong). The reason is that they have worked and spent a lot of time and money in their DB:E blogs and its like a mother rising a child. It doesnt matter if that child grows up to become a mass murdering criminal, his mother will always love him no matter how bad he is.

We have the same case here with JP giving this awful atrocity 7 out of 10.

Its his opinion and I respect him, he did a good job with his blog, but I think the reason for him to rate this movie high (7) is because of what I just explained.

Yes he was.... and it looked gay and stupid... what a shame.

But the last scene with Goku and Chichi jumping at each other and the scene freezing is even more stupid and ridiculous.
