my my my...how the tables have turned. i remember the days when i used to get yelled at for saying anything negative about this flick.
Right there with you Dorky, I remember I got labeled as a "hater"
Anyways my review/rant/tyrade/statement etc.
So I watched the film and was not suprised at all, overall I'm gonna have to go with 2/10 for this film, the pacing was ridiculous, action was very weak and some of the acting was horrendous.
Justin Chatwin - Now keeping in line with the whole "give Chatwin a chance" flak that was going on I will say this, Chatwin didnt play a "bad" Goku
nor did he play a "good" Goku, I stated a few times that he wasnt my first choice for Goku. There were times where he did have a few Goku moments and a few wtf moments.
Emmy Rossum - She had the look for Bulma but here voice was way in left field. Bulma is supposed to sound bright and cheerful but can easily turn the tables once someone gives her grief. Her attitude in this film was that of a *****.....plain and simple.
Joon Park - He wasn't a terrible Yamcha, voice was pretty good, just had cheesy lines. Didn't seem like he was shy or scared around women at all. I wished he would have actually fought and did more action.
Chow Yun Fat - IMO, he played a pretty "meh" Master Roshi, they tried to slide a little bit of pervertedness into the film, but it just looked odd seeing Chow try to pull it off. And the "Seven Dragonballs must be found" dance......******ed. In order to call Shenron you have dance or strike 6 poses.
James Marsters - He did a good job as Piccolo, too bad the final fight scene was short as all hell.
Eriko - Horrible depiction of Mai, you mean to tell me in order for her to shapeshift, she has to have a sample of ur blood.............LOL.
Jamie Cheung - I just couldnt take her seriously as Chi Chi
All in all, Thanks Fox......another one bites the dust
