I talked to JP and Bamfer last night about it. They both seemed to like it a lot more then I think anyone humanly could.

I think they're in denial.... :csad:

I still  them both though!

Its obvious JP gave this movie 7, same as Jappo/Adam will probably give it a good rating too (im especulating here, Jappo hasnt given his opinion yet, I hope he proves me wrong). The reason is that they have worked and spent a lot of time and money in their DB:E blogs and its like a mother rising a child. It doesnt matter if that child grows up to become a mass murdering criminal, his mother will always love him no matter how bad he is.

We have the same case here with JP giving this awful atrocity 7 out of 10.

Its his opinion and I respect him, he did a good job with his blog, but I think the reason for him to rate this movie high (7) is because of what I just explained.

Yes he was.... and it looked gay and stupid... what a shame.

But the last scene with Goku and Chichi jumping at each other and the scene freezing is even more stupid and ridiculous.

Ok first off i know you are just hating just to hate when you say that the kamahamaha sequence looked stupid. That was actually a very good scene and looked very good and is prob one of the best looking thing in that whole movie. Everything about that scene was awesome...PERIOD.

Okay so I just saw the movie earlier today and here's what I thought.

Goku: I thought Justin Chatwin was okay. His acting was really weak at times but then again he didn't have a lot to work with thanks to fox. One thing that I was nit picky about was this his hair style changed a lot throughout the film. One second it's spikey, the next it's not.

Bulma: Emmy Rossum was a great Bulma. I liked how they mentioned Capsule Corp in the film. She was a total badass in the film.

Yamcha: Joon Park did a great Yamcha but once again he didn't have a lot to work with and didn't have enough screen time.

Piccolo: James Marsters was the best thing about this film. His Piccolo was ****ing amazing. The only thing that really pissed me off was that the character wasn't very well devoloped and didn't have enough screen time.

Roshi: Roshi was okay in this film. Could have been more perverted but we have to put into account that this is a PG Dragonball film. I liked the tiny little jokes here and there. Hopefully in the next installment he will look more like Roshi.

Overall the film was way too short. Let me put emphasis on the TOO SHORT. It felt like one episode of Dragonball. Not enough character devolopement. The film also could use more fighting scenes. The battles weren't very well choreographed and were too short/weak. All in all it was okay for a fun kids flick, not a movie adaption of the greatest manga of all time. Great job fox, you butchered another franchise.

4/10

MY OPINION

Action:7/10
Story;5/10
Acting:4/10
Music:10/10

Overall: 6.5/10

:yay:

Why does everyone keep saying "Hopefully in the sequel it will be better"

What makes you so sure there will BE a sequel, especially considering just how horrible most of the reviews are?

If FF got a sequel heck this got a chance. By the way the movie ends in a cliffhanger anyway.

There will be a sequel because no one wants one and this is Fox we are talking about :o

Star makes a good point.

Dragonball makes FF look like an oscar worthy creation. At least I felt minimally entertained while I watched FF.

DB just felt like a big waste of my time. I am SO ashamed to have followed this movie/made podcasts/etc.

Truthfully speaking, though, I think people who think that a sequel would be any better need only look at Fantastic Four to see how wrong they are

Had soooooooooo much potential....

Next Fox movie ruined, Wolverine I am sure.

I thought FF2 was worse than FF in every way, but I know most people feel differently

Still, neither is "good" in any sense of the word

how have so many people watched it already?

if its a bootleg... then really... why bother?

I heard a rumor that Fox is going to try to keep the license of FF and DD at Fox, so they will try to reboot them later. I only hope that it is a rumor, because Marvel needs to get them back so they can do them properly.

marvels version of punisher wasnt a masterpiece either lol

Punisher War Zone was as much a product of Marvel Studios as Wolverine is

ie it wasn't

You're not the first person I've seen claim it as a Marvel flick akin to TIH and IM, though. I wonder where people are getting this idea

The movie was ****!!!!
I know, I said it was like Spy Kids 3D mixed with surf ninjas. What part of that sounds like it'd be good? The movie was utter crap, but it's hilarious.
