I actually enjoyed this movie. I went in knowing it was going to be terrible but I was hoping it would be fun and at least keep a little spirit from Dragonball and I thought it did that. It's very obvious that this film was slaughtered in the editing room so I hope they make a sequel because this one showed potential for a great movie.

I worked at Regal Theater for 2 years and My old supervisor from Regal Theater just told me the movie is in indeed Approx. 1 Hour 40 mins

Actually I think everyone's problem with the film mostly boils down to everything about it being bad.

Completely. This was pretty much Pathfinder bad. If you have not seen Pathfinder, it may just be the worst movie ever made.

A lot of this has already been said but heres my take.

The acting: Horrible.
Now since thier was zero character development, its not all the actors fault. However what little they had to work with did not turn out well.
The Dialog: Written by grade-schoolers
If a frikkin capsule turned into a vehicle, I think someone would do more then just say...."cool." I would have crapped my pants if I saw that. Every word seemed so damn cliche. Like "thats gotta hurt" "my grandfathers dead and I will avenge him"
Story: Crapped out after eating "The Bomb" Burrito at a Quick-trip gas station.
Nothing is explained at all. Why is Goku not accepted by his peers? Why is Piccolo so damn mad? How did piccolo escape?

Overall just awful.

Chi chi is damn sexy though. For that I give this one 2/10.

Yeah that was the only one that seemed to be any bit dragonball in spirit to me.

Talking about irony. The only fight that looked like DB had to do with something that had nothing to do with DB (highschool scenes).

I agree the only fight that was a bit interesting (4 out of 10 of interesting) was the bullies fight. The rest was crap. Hell, when I saw the Goku vs Roshi clip weeks ago I liked it and thought more stuff would happen, but no... all you saw in the darn clip is all that happens between roshi and Goku. What a let down.

Agreed. The only one I remotely liked was Goku vs. The Bullies. Just knowing that was the best fight in a Dragonball movie makes me want to vomit a bit in my mouth.

Thats pretty much the only part of the film that I enjoyed. It was the best choreographed fight in the entire film.

this was a kid-version of Mortal Kombat, and that's not saying much.

the only thing i liked about the movie was Emmy Rossum she is beautiful.

I like that about this movie personally. I feel connected to goku because he inspired me to keep going to battle no matter how hard life got, so maybe some other kid will get the same message or whatever... alright, I'm done rambling.

Ive been back and forth on this issue for a little while now, they will get pissy when you say something bad about them and all flock to say that thats being hateful but when it reverses they dont mind being vultures over someone else's opinion that may differ. Oh well i can try lol.

When in the manga/anime did goku just out right start brawling with people even super evil villains for just talking ****??? NEVER!!!!! Goku is suppose to be the all peaceful one is he not? If i remember correctly which i do he doesn't even get touched by those bullies who were picking on him. Damn them for making goku seem sorta like himself in this movie.
