But in the same token goku was never in high school in dragonball, how do you think a kid whos a little "off" would be perceived? He would get bullied and prob feel like an outsider. Sorry you cant handle my opinion tuff guy.

You're asking the wrong person. All I know is, the U.S runtime is Approx. 1 Hour 40 minutes. as said by a person who owns a Regal Theater.. why? you ask... ask Wong

That also includes trailers/credits... when I worked at a theatre X3 showed up at the box office as running '2 Hours 15 Minutes' when in reality the movie was like 1 hour 45 minutes or so

I doubt theres a different cut coming. If there is I will be VERY surprised.

Goku wasn't like himself at all in this movie. He was more than willing to kick their asses, there was just that little promise to Gohan in the way. If this would've been Goku from the Manga, he would've just smiled. Because of the fact he knows they are no match to him, he doesn't want to fight.

Yeah that was SO lame. I cant believe this movie was actually made. Wow.

Sorry but no amount of damage limitation hype can save this film - it was just unwatchable. My computer got so bored it went into screen saver mode five minutes early.

The movie suffered because Wong wanted to make the movie PG causing them to cut the movie down to an abomination and giving us crappy Power Ranger level choreography with obvious wire work. The thing is, the movie could have been longer and PG-13 and still be considered a family movie. I think they had young cast full of talent waiting to be exposed but was a let down because of the lackluster script. Tone it down for a PG rating in Japan? Why?

Thats bull.. thats only a new rumor to get more people in the seats in the movie theater. The last remaining little percentage of desperated defenders of this atrocity (which at this point can be called sheep) are now making **** up about a new longer US 110 mins version. Give me a break. All you guys are doing is increasing the dissapointment in the people who go watch this travesty of a movie.

Yeah, why would they not show all in the japanese/korean movies? lol, there are more fans of DB in Japan than in the USA. Why show a short version there? if they spent all their publicity and marketing campaign there in Asia?. You guys stopped using common sense a long time ago. No offense.

NO i'm not basing this off some Justin Chatwin youtube email. I'm basing off the fact the owner, my friend, and mentor of a Regal Theater told me so. He has no reason to lie.

And also the fact that various of other sites say 100 mins.

The really sad thing is that Power Ranger fights are by far more entertaining and fun to watch.

That also includes trailers and credits I used to be an assistant manager at a theatre as well and yeah... those times are the FULL running time from the moment the screen is lit up until the moment it goes black. It's not all the film itself.

i told you that you can nto make a good fighting movie with a PG rating. i told you that they will cut always back when someone punches. i told you that PG is nto enough . i told you that a short running time will destroy the pacing.

if this was every other studio i would only be mad.
but there is somethin else. i knew that this would happen and it did. and always with FOX. running time,rating,actors.

This film could be 3hrs long and it would still be a disaster, extra scenes don’t change the dialogue, extra scenes don’t improve the acting, extra scenes don’t improve the actions of the film. Like JoseMp said the added scenes rumour just sounds like damage control from people involved in the film. I am certain they are not oblivious to the response this film is getting.

Also you guys should expect the excuse of "oh this was an origin story expect the sequel to have bigger and better action", do not listen to **** like that its all merely an excuse. Origin films should warrant sequels by their own merit and not via the promise of a better second film.
