All of these 1's are not justified.

This is a post made by Renegade90 in another forum. I have explained myself before in other posts, but since im a bit lazy right now to search my old posts im just going to copy and paste Renegade90´s post since its exactly what I have posted before about the plot holes, just with different words:

Renegade90:

1. Piccolo seems to have escaped from the Mafubu jar, with no explantion to how he could have. I meant to guess that Mai helped him, Mai who cant beat a human girl in a fight.
2. These Bullies don't like Goku, ok fair enough, i don't know why seeing as how he dresses liek them and doesnt act wierd in anyway. Even if you dont like someone, who attacks someone with a friggin BASEBALL bat, they were actually tying to KILL him and people just look on as this is just routine.
3. Theres no explanation to why Piccolo is so friggin angry and what he actually wants to do to the world, destroy it or rule it (who knows) and he doesnt mention what he wants to actually wish for.
4. Goku in this film is portrayed as a normal guy who has contact with the real world, goes to school etc why the hell would he bury he's grandpa in the back yard so casually, if he no contact with society i could understand but he does.
5. Rushed romances
6. Chi Chi seems more intrested in fighting than Goku does
7. Mai seems to know that Chi Chi will be with bulma and co, before everone else does, can she see into the future or something
8. Mai is under developed, nobody knows nothing about her is she an alien how can she shapeshift etc. How does her shapeshifting power enable her to know what Chi Chi will wear on that day.
9. Goku is willing to give up training only for him to be persuaded not to and TRAINED BY CHI CHI, seriously. O yeah it takes him a few seconds to learn how to do the attack
10. Bad acting
11. Bad diologue
12. Average effects
13. You never feel that there is any threat and that world is going to end etc
14. Goku fights Mai in th volcano and then just doesnt question why she was there or anything and doesnt tell anyone he encountered her.
15. Yamcha( the non fighter) gets smashed into a wall by Ozzaru but yet comes back unscathered to kill maiand save Bulma in the nick off time.
16. The whole 2000 YEARS AGO thing Would confuse anyone.
17. Goku fires he's blast at Piccolo sending him to the ground and he just leaves this all so threatening villain asleep on the floor why no friggin contain him in the stupid jar then. So much for avenging your grandpa, you sent the villain to sleep.

The film had no conclusion they didnt win. Oh sorry i forgot Goku won the girl at the end.

The whole film just leaves you guessing. Nothing is explained.

I mean its like James Wong, Ramsey and Fox pretended we are all stupid and would forget about those stupid things with no sense. The movie itself is an insult to anybody´s intelligence, unless you are a 4 year old kid. I think they aimed this to 3-6 year olds.


Theres more stuff in this movie that makes it suck, but thats enough for now.

Even Fantastic Four doesn't deserve a 1, and that's a much worse film.

I disagree. I think this is basically on the same level. In fact if someone asked me what I would compare it to, it would be the FF films.

And if we're arguing that no one should give this film a 1, then no one should be giving this film a 10 either. As long as we're talking about ratings this film doesn't deserve.

Been a devout fan since I was 10 years old (now 21) and I worshiped the series for a long time. Making dragonball websites was why I learned to program and how I got interested in computers which is what I do for a living now. When I first heard about the dragonball movie, I was beyond stoked, but I could never imagine that they would give us this trainwreck of a movie. It was literally like watching an extended power rangers episode.

I hated, hated, hated Goku. This isn't the Goku we know at all. When he's being picked on by the bullies, he has a clenched fist and is full of anger - this wouldn't happen. The real Goku would say "whats this guy's problem?" and walk away. The movie Goku even pulls his hood up like an emo ***** after getting pissed off. His facial expressions throughout the movie made me cringe, especially when he first daydreamed about chi chi eating a ****ing strawberry.

The last fight scene was a complete joke. There is NO hand to hand combat between Goku and Piccolo. It's pretty much just a light show with Goku jumping out of the way. The kamehameha was horrid. I can't believe he ****ing jumped with it. Why the hell did they make him jump with the kamehameha?? This was the worste movie I've seen in a while, and probably one of the worste I've ever seen. I could go on and on about how horrible this movie is, but it would take me all night. It's like they didn't even try.

Overall, the film was rushed and it shows big time, I would have expected this from a fan film maybe, but a "big budget" film company, my God. But with Hollywood today, they'll wait a while and do the ol' "reboot"

Hey everyone. I just watched this movie online. Absolutely terrible, not that that is a surprise. Maybe if they bothered to even explain the crappy plot lines they threw together, despite them being nothing like the manga, it could've been at least a better, if still not faithful, movie. Ah well. Huge missed opportunity.

Apparently I voted a ten though. Don't know why that would even happen? Guess I'll be laughed off of the SHH. I don't know If I clicked it not knowing or what but it is really really embarrassing.

I just watched this online and have to say it is the most cringe worthy movie I have seen in a very long time. The acting was terrible...particularly Yamacha, Roshi and Bulma. Justin Chatwin is just bland and does nothing to inspire any interest. The special effects are pretty average. The story is non-existant. The dialogue is just so bad, some of the most offending dialogue were:

Bulma: I want all the dragonballs...gotta get them all
Roshi : I am the great Roshi (or something along those lines)
Goku: I will defeat oozaru and I will defeat you .
Goku : DRAGGOOONNN!! I have passed the seven trials.....
Goku : Are......you.....Picolo?
Goku: I will avenge my grandfather
Yamacha: everything he said

If I had to give this movie a score 1.5/10 would be it.

The most I'll do is wait for a better bootleg version that adds the first missing minutes at the beginning. But that's it. Watching this in theaters won't make any of the short fight scenes or horrid dialogue any better.

on top of that, perhaps you would want to wait for the American version because the movie is actually 1 hr 40 mins. They had to cut the movie down to fit the PG movie rating in Asia. I saw the bootleg version too, but im not saying anything, because i still have to see the whole thing, unlike most of you who think thats it. So say what you want, you have your opinion, and i have mine...and neither one will stop anyone from liking the movie.
