Only seen the last 27 minutes of it and it was actually worse than I imagined. You know, after all these questionable choices have been made, like sending Goku to highschool, making characters unrecognizable, westernizing the crap out of it and practically saying **** you to the fans, I just expected a decent final fight. Because I thought they might have put a little effort into that.

Every cheap fight in 'The Legend of Chun Li' tops the fight between Piccolo and Goku. There wasn't even much of a fight.

After Goku retains his mind and changes back from his Oozaru form, you have him and Piccolo exchanging Ki blasts. Then they charge at each other, fly up into the air and hit each other a couple times in the face until both of them get smashed though a mountain. Seconds later both get up, you get the horrible Oozaru speech and after two big charged ki attacks, the fight's over...

WHAT. THE. ****.

Where the heck was the damn martial arts?
are you serious?

this is the fight??????????????????

this is the final DB fight between piccolo and goku????????????????????????????

how can you f.. up the final fight in a DB movie?????????????

that one black guy with the fro who did the video review said it best......in this day and age, when the Matrix is creeping up on it's 10th birthday on March 31st, there really is no excuse for the kind of fight scenes that DB:E has produced. DB's fight scenes should've made the fight scenes from the Matrix and Kill Bill look like cake walk, but instead we're stuck with b-grade quality fight scenes with actors that don't know how to move properly.

Man they should have let the Wachowskis direct.

in 1999 i said the technology is there to make a DB movie. in 2003(reloaded) i was 100% sure that they could do fighting, flying and ki blasts.in november 2003(revolutions) i got a DB type of fight.

and in 2009 we get this kind of fight?are you all serious? i dont belive you. it was hard for me to even understand that the kamehameha is 24 seconds long. but this whole fight sounds pathetic.

if WB would have the rights you can bet yoru ass that they would do this movie 200%. its a fact not an opinion.
they like to work with WB.

It is pathetic...the fights from the clips we saw are alot better. They should have reversed it..

i thought they were a shoe-in for Dragon Ball. imagine how much Stephen Chow's input would've come in handy with the Wachowski's at the helm.

speed racer is proof that they would make a fantastical world, faithfull hairstyles, clothes and everything.

I'm dead serious, that's all that happened in the entire fight between the two. And kbrooksgohan is right. The bully fight, as much as I loath it, is actually more entertaining than the final fight. The last fight was just sad.

ok dark_b is official in denial. i expected a lot of bad stuff. my expectations were zero. but this can not be true.

i am in denial. this can not be true. you saw a fake movie. the real movie comes out in april.

sarcasm out.

I think Stephen Chow should direct it, he's good at combining that campy comedy with good action and choreography, Kung Fu Hustle is more of a Dragonball movie than DB:E, the only thing missing is ki-blasts

The fight scenes were way better than Chun-Li but that was the same Asian baby that played baby Bison in Street Fighter.

wow. He really rips it a new one.

Let it go this movie was givin no chance from the start it had such a low budget because the studio new that nomatter what they did Fans would hate it i think it looks good but i love classic martial arts movies with cheap wire work so yeah i cant wait to see it but will we see a sequel that could be better nope you all will see to that

$100M is a low budget?

I learn something new on the internet every day :)

oh. and. for. a .DragonBall. movie. 100. million. is. nothing. as. we .will .all. see.

I've seen Dragonball:Evolution....and its far from being good. In fact its just a horribly made film all around. Even if you come in with low expectations you will undoubtedly come out disappointed still. A lot of scenes felt so staged and confined that the Power Ranger comparisons were not to far off.

The Fu Lum's had to be one of the more disappointing aspects of the film (along with their creator "Lord Piccolo" that shows up 15 minutes or less throughout the film). The action scene that takes place in the Volcano Goku vs Fu Lums is almost unwatchable because of the terrible lighting techniques and the fight itself was edited in such a poor manner. The CGI was laughable to put in the nicest way possible (Fu Lums regenerating effect looked on par with any regeneration effects you've seen in any Sci-Fi original movie or any of the modern Power Ranger incarnations).

This isn't my full review and I will make sure to write one as soon as I'm done taking care of some mid term assignments.
