Yeah, I thought that was pretty clear- and I've only seen one or two episodes and the movie. He used to be an operative, had some kind of "There is nothing left to see" moment, and became the Sheperd. Would love to see a sequel, was an absolutely fantastic movie.

Yes it was great. Finding out about Books past life made his death easier to deal with. It was the end of his journey anyway.

oh oh oh please be another one! I want to see Mal and his crew back sooooo much, I loved Firefly and it was a great cast also.

Just shame Wash wouldn't be in it, nor Book, maybe flashbacks though.

The more time has passed the more I think the story should end where it did. I know that sounds bad but just think if they bring another movie out, alongside the quality of the series and first film, and it flops in quality we will be upset.

I doubt that article is true and probably Tudyk just having some fun (he is known for being a practical joker). Why would he be in the loop for a sequel, after all?

Though, Whedon did say that a direct-to-DVD sequel pretty much depends on the special edition's DVD sales.

The sequel should be more Western-esque. Bring me Badger, Saffron, Jubal Early and horses. Not that I did not like Serenity it'd just make it a bit different from the first film and bring back moe series characters.

Please let there be a sequel. I wouldn't mind a $20 million film or $15 million, but my guess is that it will be direct to DVD, which I'd take at this point, too though.

If it was me i would continue the story just after the series ended.. or even before that..this way you keep all crew members.
