it would be perfect if SM3 was 2 hrs 30 min. that's the running time of a true epic super hero movie.

and i have no problem about screenings, since potc2 was the same length.

spider-man 1 and 2 were both just around the 2 hr mark

just to remind you, this is something they told the theater so that he can use to figure out his timings for the day... as in, he can run it 4 times a day because it's 2:20 and he only has time to do that... so it's not official that it's 2:20 even, but it's "around that mark"

and the 7 screens thing makes me happy t: can't wait to fill 7 frickin' screens of SM3!

I am sure our theatre will run 5-7 screens. They had 4 screens for SM2 here. But having a runtime of 2:20 is great. I am still guessing 2:25.

2:20 is not a disappointing runtime at all, but it's not what I expected. (I expected 3 hours)

But, hopefully this means the final battle starts around the 1:40-1:45 mark and we get about 20-25 minutes of it...that'd be beyond fantastic.

Still, I am happy with the news.

2:20 minutes is a great running time but I hope the running time that IMDB posted is true(2:36 minutes)because that would be awesome.5 more weeks and Spider-Man 3 will be here!!!

Anyone remember how delusional people became about X-men 3's running time even after the movie was released? People claimed that some theatres were simply running SHORTER cuts. And that the early screenings were shorter cuts. The actual cuts would have tidal waves, the phoenix effects, oh and ANGEL FIGHTING.

Delusional Fantastic Four fans also claimed similar things for that film's running time as well. Funny how after years fans don't wise up.

I still want to know why the mods lied to us and falsely reported a fake running time for X-men 3. Even if it came from the Fox execs., it seemed like a smokescreen to distract from how bad the movie was going to be.

Plus, 'Le Grand Rex' a very famous french movie theatre in Paris says that the running time is 2h36.

2:20 is very good. I mean 2:30 would be awesome as well but if it is indeed 2:20 I won't have a problem with it. 2:25 I would like and 2:36 would rock as well, so I don't know which one it really is going to be but I'm thinkimg it's either 2:20 or 2:25.

2H36M seems like a great running time, but I'll wait until the first week of May to believe what the time will actually be.
