I am just scared if it runs any shorter, because the storyline that looks awesome in our heads would be undercooked on screen. This film has offered so much potential and i just pray to good it delivers.. please deliver Raimi please lol

2hrs.40min = DEFINITLY Unlikely to happen!

2½hrs = If we're DAMN lucky!

2hrs.20min. = MOST likely to happen!!!

But I seriously doubt that it'll be any shorter then 2hrs.15min though!

2 hrs 20min feels just about right. It just depends on the content shown within the time. If its 2 hrs 20min of what sm1 and 2 were like then that would suck donkey sack but from the looks of things that aint gonna happen.

heck, the hulk was 2:18. if they can find that much time for such a simplistic character and villain, they better find more for someone as complex as spiderman and sandman/venom/goblin.

Raimi doesnt make realllly long movies. His movies are always fast paced.

I bet its spider-man 2's length of about 2 hours and 10 minutes.

Max 2:20 and its unlikely it will be that long.

Come on...we've got more than enough evidence than this is going to be a LONG movie. Probably not 3 hours 'cause the studio execs would scream bloody murder...but I think it's going to be 156 minutes, like IMDB says. I mean, if we get all the character scenes which we ALL KNOW Alvin Sargent loves, and then we get the action scenes that we love...yeah, 156 minutes sounds right.

It's not that outlandish. Superman Returns was 150. Batman Begins was 140, and so was Hulk. Spider-Man 3 is the end of a trilogy that's been adored by millions. 2 hours and 15 minutes would be an injustice.

Ha, 156 minutes...to give imdb credit, i have seen them be the first to show info that was later confirmed, take it with a big grain but dont throw it out all together (and remember, imdb was acting on sources saying aunt may was carnage)

My gut feeling says cut 20 minutes off that and thats the time.

What I am HOPING the running time is: 140-150 mins.

But I honestly think we will all be suprised by the official running time, and it will probably only be about 125 minutes...which would be great, but as many have said (including some of the cast) there is A LOT going on in this film, so it could 180 minutes for all we know!

Whatever. Our best bet at this time is 156 minutes, seeing as how the movie is jam-packed with action and character. Kirsten Dunst already admitted it to be a VERY LONG movie. 156 minutes is pretty long to some, but it's not that long to a few diehard movie fans (like myself).

There's no way in hell that this will be shorter than the first two. We just had Doc Ock in 2, and that was 128 minutes. We've got three villains in this one. I bet any so-called "short attention span" fan 75 dollars that this movie is gonna be 156 minutes.

You know I do believe it will be around 140-150 minutes of run time. I mean it could be shorter but to me Sam is some one no matter what who likes heavy character development/drama. And since he got a little flak from Spidey 2 being not having a lot of action he seems to be making up for it in Spidey 3.

Just because there are 3 villians I do not think Sam will spend less time on any of them, just because there are three.

I mean we have so much to cover in this story:

-Sandman's origin/killing Ben
-Sandman robbing a bank, Red Spidey trying to take him out.
-The Parade/Spidey Day
-Just the life of MJ and Peter
-Harry *using the Performance enhancers* as well as attacking Pete for 6 minutes
-The struggle with Harry, the mansion fight, him in the hospital, him getting amnesia, him and MJ kinda talking back and forth again.
-We have Gwen Stacy, her flirting with Peter
-We have the whole symbiote story, apparently Connors dealing with it, so we will get more of an explanation.
-Black Spidey making the rounds,
-It destroying Pete's Life.
-Eddie, his thing with Gwen, him trying to ruin Pete, getting ruined by Pete in return.
-Peter taking down Sandman in the subway/sewers


I could go on, but with so much stuff, including Sandman and his family, it is not going to be a short film. I gaurente it will be longer then Spidey 2, at least 2 hours and 15 minutes but I have a feeling it could be longer.

If the fight of Harry that will be 6 minutes long, man, thats just ONE of the actions scenes, not including all the others I mentioned including the battle royale. I think this movie could reach 150.

Yeah, except for like this:

I think this takes place at the beginning of the third act.
