Um not quite. Space should have stayed out of the film. The only good thing the movie had going for it was its fight scenes which were pretty amazing with the special effects. I dont want to get into all of my reasons why that film was a disaster, bc we're already getting a bit off topic, but suffice it to say, it was nowhere as good as it could have and should have been

It was anything but the best of the three movies. X-men was a great movie and they went don hill from there. Don't get me wrong I like them all and own them all but 1 was the best followed by 2 and then 3.

Im with you on the swinging. I just am not a big fan of it. The story is deff not a strong point but i wasnt expecting an RPG like tale so i wasnt worried there. I think game is mad fun.

What are controls for swinging? What specifically about it is weak? The swinging is the thing I love the most about SM2 (even Ultimate Spider-Man's swinging was good) and if this game has bad swinging, I cannot buy it.

just an extra boss, which from what Im hearing boss fights arent that great. And of course there are the Wii controls. Id skip the Wii version bc its essentially the same as teh PS2 version which sucks. Get it for the 360

Well its not bad. I mean its alot if not a mirror image of the swingin in USM, but its just not how I wanted it. You shouldnt be able to change direction while in mid swing like you can in this game. I will say this tho, the swingin animations look fantastic. I mean when you charge a jump and release off of your web line, looks just like it does in the movies, so i gotta give that a thumbs up.

Im begining to think that half of the ppl that are playing this game, suck at it. Kingpin WAS NOT THAT HARD. I loved all the boss fights, minus Kraven.

I just beat it recently and it's in no way as bad as they say it is. The boss fights were tricky but not impossible, Kingpin was extremely easy, the easier of the bosses. Every boss took me atleast 2 trys. One to figure out everything that they do, and the next to beat them.

Overall It was a fun game, way better then S-M2 mission wise.

With how the the american gaming press handled SM3, i cant argue that. I dont know if iv ever played a game where the review was so f***ed, for 360 any ways, i dont know about the other systems.

I think the problem is it suffered from IGN's early review. They had no reason to give it a 6, saying it was just Spider-man 2 with a next-gen make over. That warrants it being bad?

So naturally everyone else goes "ZOMG IT SUCS LOLZ!" and the word spread.

I'm just curious, nobody has mentioned anything about alternate costumes, other than possibly Venom (which has yet to really be confirmed so far as I know). Does anyone know if Spidey gets any other cool outfits?

Well i mean they played the same game i did. I bought the game before i read the review, I had been on the game for about an hour and then i read the review and immediately thought they were slightly off but the review did say that the game got worse over time. I also was dreading the Kingpin fight being that Ign stated just how awful it was. Once i completed the game i came to the conclusion that the individual responsible for the 360 review, was just an idiot.

I've been tired of critics, professional and otherwise, since X3, when everyone was hugging on bryan singer's nutsack, claiming SR was gonna be the best thing ever and x3 would be crap. It wasn't, it was great, but of course they couldn't admit they were wrong so they convinced themselves x3 sucked. I doubt there's many legitimate haters of X3 who genuinely don't think it's a good movie, just a bunch of bandwagon jumpign haters, a nd it's the same with spiderman 3 (the movie that is).

I have to chime in here. I am one of the people who genuinely disliked X3. I'm an X-Men fan, not a Wolverine fan. X-Men is the only movie of the three I can stand to watch again. AND X3 wasn't compelling, even on it's own. I'd take Hulk over it any day, at least Hulk had psychology going for it.
