It's Arana. And, I don't know, nothing I suppose. I think it has some reference to some of that Grim Hunt storyline in ASM, but I didn't read it and jumped into the series fine.

Armor Wars! ah the first time around when everyone in the Marvel Universe hated Tony Stark. Stark went around kick the ass and ocassionally killing his rogues gallery he then faked his death and left Rhodey to run his company Stark Enterprises and continue as Iron Man taking the heat for all the stuff he had done. Stark then comes back like nothing happened and Rhodey freaks out after finding he was manipulated, used and lied too (see Stark has always been a *****ebag).

Rhodey goes off to have his own adventures as War Machine (which is worth checking out although I'm not sure if its in trades yet) you may want to skip the part in which he gets a alien suit though that sucked.

In the great pantheon of Thor writers, where does Dan Jurgens' work on the character rank? I read some of it awhile ago but not all of it. Is his work on Thor considered essential?

This is a Marvel movie question: What do you guys think Thor's strength is? I see him taking down the SHIELD agents but 616 Thor would just flick them away. You guys think movie Thor is not as strong as comic Thor? I know noone has seen the movie but the rum is talking to me so someone help me out.

From what I can tell, he's fighting thru shield agents to get his hammer back, and with it his thundergod powers. Without it, I guess he's just a really buffed out war vet.

It's what Jord said. His powers are stripped, and until he gets his hammer back, he'll be fighting with the general strength of a 6 foot 5, 250lb Viking.

Which is nothing to laugh at really. Guys a beast. I think it's hilarious how he starts throwing doctors and nurses around like rag dolls.

Pretty sure he's a normal human at that point in the film. He gets stripped of his powers when he's banished from Asgard, so presumably he's fighting through SHIELD agents to try and reclaim Mjolnir and his powers along with it. So basically he's just going all Die Hard on their asses, taking down armed SHIELD agents left and right with his bare hands.
