It'd make his techno-organic parts useful, at least. What kind of *****e has a half-robotic body that doesn't actually do s*** for him? :o

Those cyber-parts seem awfully useful. So why not just relax his powers and let it convert him to full robot?

Think about it. Would you want to have your entire body transform into metal? I think he values his flesh and being human.

Also, wouldn't it eventually kill him or something?

Pretty much, and that's part of what killed him in Second Coming. The other part being that the portal he was keeping open kinda imploded on him.

Yeah I think thats always been a fear.

I did some digging and he actually doesnt have the TO anymore, at least not quite. He was cured of it in Cable & Deadpool. His arm is actually a baby Phalanx which he lives in symbiosis with. His arm was dismembered from him though in Second Coming so chances are he may not have any traces of it

He's not dead!
He's most likely lost in the timestream considering he's getting a new ongoing this winter

Typical Cable. He can't just have a regular ole robot arm, it's gotta be something weird and convoluted that only kind of makes sense. :whatever:

Has a villain ever wielded Thor's hammer?

Is it just me or is Norman smiling?

I believe that Rogue used Thor's hammer in her first appearance. This was after she had absorbed Thor's powers and personality so maybe it couldn't tell the difference between her and Thor.

Does Latveria have a flag? What does it look like?

Speaking of which, does Wakanda have a flag? What does it look like?

was the original idea for spider-man 3 supposed to have sandman and vulture, with peter using the simbiote and seting up venom for the sequel before Avi Arad told sam to put him into the movie?

Has Hobie Brown been around anywhere lately? Seems like I haven't heard anything about him in a while. But I haven't been keeping up with Spidey comics.

It's for the best. If showed up again, it would probably be just to kill him off. :o

Haven't you heard? Marvel is giving us more black characters. Not killing them off.

More black characters? And they're acknowledging these characters are black?! Arggh!! That pisses me off for some reason! :cmad:

Companies like Marvel and DC always flaunt their brand new minority characters using another superhero's name. It doesn't matter. People will or won't gravitate toward the character based on how well they're written and which franchise they're being added to, not which demographic box they tick. This has happened tons of times over the past decade, yet everyone is still oh-so shocked that Marvel would dare show off a new minority Ult. Spider-Man by exploiting their race.

Remember Arana? Remember how she was basically promoted as nothing more than a Hispanic Spider-Girl, but that didn't matter because she was a good character anyway? That was 7 years ago.

I'm not shocked by it at all. On the contrary, I think it's becoming too common when new minority characters are introduced and I'm getting tired of it.

I'm glad that Arana was a good character. I think it was you that mentioned Jaime Reyes in another thread, too. AND Kate Kane. They're all fantastic characters. But that's part of what makes me angry about the way they promote them. The characters can be good without the shameless self-aggrandizing by the company.

It's a simple overreaction on their part, really. They're bombarded by fans who ask for more minority characters all the time, so their immediate decision upon creating them is to shove their minoritiness our faces.

Fans: "We want more black and Hispanic characters!!"
Marvel: "We created a new Ultimate Spider-Man, and he's both black and Hispanic! Do you see how Blatino he is? See? Just like you asked? More black and Hispanic characters!"
Fans: "God, Marvel. Why is it every time you make a new minority, all you can talk about is their race?"
