so in Age of X was the fiery, Phoenix chick Rachel?

Does Corp need a time out? He seems a bit cranky.

Yeah, the explanation was that at the same time that the reality warp to AoX happened, Rachel was trying to send a telepathic communication to the X-Men, but the warp caused her mind to be trapped up in it, and Revenant was created because of it.

So how is it that DC needs to reboot thier entire multiverse every few years, while Marvel has gone 60 years (give or take) without doing the same? Besides that one time Thanos rebooted the universe :p

Marvel uses a sliding timescale so all the events since the 60's in real time have taken place in Marvel Universe time as about 10 years. It works well if you can ignore technological advances and who is President.

They both used a sliding timescale.

DC never NEEDED to reboot their universe. They just do it because the people in charge are a-holes.

Also, technically, DC never really rebooted. They rebooted some, kept others (Batman) exactly the same. Just like now. Which is why the continuity is all f**ked up. You can't do a total reboot for some and keep others supposedly untouched in a shared universe. If this person didn't exist until, like a few years ago, then how could this have happened the same way for this character?

Now, if by some crazy cosmic hiccup this recent "reboot" by DC sticks. (that means they continue to kick Marvels ass in sales for like, a full year or two? Don't be surprised if the "House of Ideas" doesn't try the same s**t.)

Unlike Marvel of the 80's, I don't think these guys have the wherewithal to not do something just to be like the Joneses.

has blackbolt EVER spoken?
Of course he has, the problem is his voice is uber powerful that it causes mass destruction. He whispered the word "War" in Son of M and destroyed a few planes with that

The guy's got to sneeze, hiccup, burp, from time to time. Snore while sleeping, moan while love-making Medusa. You'd think a powerful enough blow from an enemy (whoever the hell the Inhumans fight...Skrulls, Jews...) would make him grunt of wheeze or something. Any sound he makes should kill someone. An accidental sound-discharge.

He's spoken alot recently
up til he died anyway
they even used his voice as ammo for guns and giant Kree Sentrys.

He's alive again. ( Still think it's the Evil Universes Blackbolt though.)

Cancerverse Black Bolt? Never thought of that. It'd be a real shame if Black Bolt never got to use his sweet harem, though.

Eh, the only one worth banging is the horse. :o

Black Bolt once made a short speech to Attilan from the top of a building. For him it was only the tiniest whisper but it was heard all over the city.

On Friends Ross mentions Incredible Hulk #72.
In the episode Ross worries that his new girlfriend is a lesbian, Febie jokes this would never happen to the hulk and Ross mentions the Incredible Hulk #72:
"Actually that... that's not true. In The Incredible Hulk, uh, number 72, Dr. Bruce Banner found"
What was he referring to exactly? Was Hulk's girlfriend a lesbian?

I've got a pretty dumb question - before Civil War, Iron Man and Spidey were tight. Then Spidey flips sides during CW, which really damages the relationship they had built up. Was this ever really explored afterwards? I didn't read much of aftermath but I know they are both back as current members of Avengers, so presumably getting along. Or did the nonsense with Mephisto render all this as irrelevant?

pretty much.

Not to mention Fraction in Stark Disassembled had Tony's brain rebooted with an older version that was prior to all that stuff. He found out about Civil War and The Initiative through newspaper clippings.

true, but Peter still remembers everything as it was supposed to be (minus the actual marriage) so he still went bats@#! on Tony for making him reveal himself and getting Aunt May shot. so logically he shouldve been a little sour toward him after BND.

I thought so. Wasn't that part of what the big media coverage over his replacing Peter was about?

I thought that was just boos**t fanboy rumors. "Not only is he black, but he's half Hispanic and he's gay! OMFG ROTFL :argh:"

Or whateves.

Well, supposedly, May should never have been shot in the first place thanks tot he deal. Things happened, but they happened differently.
