So the original Vision is back now? How/when did that happen?

Yeah, he was like, "Hey, Cap... SURPRISE!" And everyone was like, "What the f***? You could've just done that all along yet left his ass sitting there in pieces for like a year?"

Or maybe that was just me. :o

Well, he kinda lobotomized himself, so he probably forgot where he put him.

That's no excuse.

Let's remember that it's Bendis writing this s**t. Just be happy that the Vision is finally back and will be (hopefully) in the hands of a more capable writer soon.

Tony Stark finally got around to rebuilding him in a recent issue of The Avengers.

Thanks

Must have been pretty low on his to-do list. Right after making new armor, the liquor store, Asgardian weapons, repairing Cap's shield, and taking his old armor to Good Will.

Speaking of ol' Iron Butt, does anyone else find it kind of irritating that he rebuilt Asgard? It just seems wrong to me.

Based on some cover images I thought he was going to be coming back in Secret Avengers, seeing as the current arc there involves Robots and such. I was flipping through the last issue of Avengers at my LCS and was surprised to see him back already.

Does Fraction still write him? He does.....then I could give a s**t less.

I didn't know he had, but that does seem wrong. I thought Odin made a point in Fear Itself that they weren't going to let the humans rebuild Asgard since he could do it himself with just a snap of his fingers or something.

Hmm, still sound like a dumb idea. Don't they have enough to rebuild already? Like Avengers Tower and parts of New York? They should be getting the gods to rebuild all that.

I don't know if they are planning on rebuilding the Tower. I could care less if they do. They've got the mansion and I'm dying to see Hydrobase again one day.

As far as Stark's company, to be fair they have been all over the place rebuilding stuff. Pretty much after every big battle, they're right there at the end saying "no prob, we GOT this".

Stark's clearly trying to put Damage, Inc. out of business. F***ing bastard. :cmad:

That was before they saved his ass (again) in Fear Itself.
Read it again. His sons saved the whole world's ass in Fear Itself. The humans were just cannon fodder to distract the Serpent.

You could probably just pick it up from Fantastic Four #600. I assume you were aware that Johnny "died" prior to that, right? That and the fact that there was a council of evil alternate-reality Reeds who got wiped out by Celestials are all you really need to know. You don't need to read FF for the story, either. They're connected but Hickman's been keeping them fairly independent by focusing on the main Fantastic Four in their eponymous series and Val, Franklin, and Nathaniel Richards in FF.

But issue 600 is freakin' $8 or something like that. That's a lot of money for just trying something out.

For the record, this was the hardest I've laughed all week. Thanks nuby :)

I dropped it before it ended because it sucked so bad. I'm just speculating...:hehe:

Honestly though, how many times have the Avengers fought for Asgard in the past? That was one of my beefs with FI, Odin was being such a *****e.

He was being a *****e because he knew the prophecy that Thor would die if he stood and fought the Serpent. That's his brother and his son, man. Heavy s***.

Although, yeah, he was a pretty colossal *****e, even with that justification. Then again, he doesn't have the intimate knowledge of humanity Thor has. However much he cares about mankind, he still views them as something like pets. A lesser species to be looked after, not the proud race with every bit the potential for greatness as the gods themselves that Thor sees them as.

At this rate, Avengers: The Children's Crusade's last two issues will be delayed indefinitely, so Jonas'll stick around forever.

its been delayed? WTF? It was supposed to end at the same time as X-Sanction before AvX and lead into it. The fate of Scarlet Witch adn what happens at the end of that is crucial to the opening plot of AvX
