He is a great writer. Iron Fist and Cassanova have shown this, oh and the order. As long as a writer has been great they can come back to it after a bad spell. I would agree it's not super likely but it's better than a **** writer's chance of becoming good.

Don't tell me he's not a good writer. I've been defending him for the last few years based on Casanova's awesomeness.....but writing established characters? He's not so good.

And then there was that s**t he said, dismissing peoples complaints about this very topic. Seemed so GD arrogant. Lost a little respect for him. He's a prime example of a guy who changes the characters to fit the story, not changing the story to fit the character.

He did well with Iron Fist and his Spider-Man annual was amazing. I also don't think his iron man is bad, not fantastic but good at least.

There is an arrogance there, but to be fair when you're working on something people can get hot and emotional, it can also be a cover for the fact that you're actually hurt and do care about the opinions of others.

I would say that you're probably right, probably. But I'm allowing for the possibility based on his past writings that it can get better.

Fraction's writing didn't jerk anyone around as much as the Uncanny X-Men readers. He'd follow up amazing storylines like Lovelorn with crap like Sisterhood, follow that with an amazing Dark Avengers crossover, and then write nothing but crap for the rest of his run.

Or not. Schism has breathed fresh air back into those books
And by that, you mean Wolverine and the X-Men is good, right? 'Cause Scott's up to the same old bulls*** that made X-Men comics unreadable to me lately, by all indications.

As for Fraction improving on Thor, it's entirely possible. Never say "never," after all. But I agree with George Nubsanopoulos that it's not very likely. He's mischaracterizing Thor on a very fundamental level, after all.

Uncanny X-men #1 was actually quite good. The book finally has a concrete roster with a clear mission statement. UXM #1 is the best the book has been in ages. Gillen has finally managed to get rid of the Fraction stench that has been plaguing his run and he's made the book his own with its own distinct voice and feel. I look forward to what else he has in store. Both it and WaTX have started off on the right foot

Scott and Logan each have 4 books to their "teams". Everything's been solid so far; minus Gen Hope cuz she sucks.

Rogue is my favorite X-Man. She's leading her own book, if I remember correctly? How does that work? She allies with Scott or Logan?

I just read that today and while the weakest of the Regenesis titles, it wasnt that bad. LOL..Hope doesnt suck. She's the only one in the book that really seems to shine. I was reading it and thinking how bland the cast is and I still dont know these characters codenames. Kenji and Laurie are the only ones who stand out, but the rest are too generic and not that interesting.

Rogue is my favorite X-Man. She's leading her own book, if I remember correctly? How does that work? She allies with Scott or Logan?. X-men Legacy, the book Rogue is on is a part of Logan's camp. It stars Rogue, Rachel Grey, Frenzy, Gambit, Iceman (and other rotating X-men)

:doom: :doom: :doom:
She was or wont be for much longer. Her fanboy, writer Carey is leaving after the first Regenesis arc

Hope needs to start getting messiah-y. Idk what Kurt and Cable died for. Wanda seems like she's gonna undo M-Day in Children's Crusade so I don't see the point of Hope.

She's stabilizing all the new mutants so that the emergence of their powers doesnt kill them

Oh and p.s. Cable isnt dead ;)

What's Doom's status with the Scarlet Witch? I haven't updated my Doom info when it comes to the X-Men.

Seems kind of pointless. What kind of messiah needs to personally "fix" every new member of her entire race? Mutants kind of should die out in that case. That's a terrible attempt at evolution. :o

Outside of her group, have their been any new X-genes popping up?

Yeah, I'm very excited for Cable vs Avengers. Here's hoping he brought Nate's tk back with him lol

I'm hoping for that too. Cable should be taken down by any Avenger with one hand tied behind their back if he doesn't have at least some of his ridiculous psychic powers.

speaking of Nate, DnA have done the impossible and made him likeable. I always hated him but dont mind him in New Mutants. It finally feels like a decent fit for him. It is kinda pathetic though that Hope is training him over there, but they got an interesting relationship acknowleding that he's sorta her uncle in a weird way

BTW, how did he lose his telepathy? I didnt read Dark X-men but did he not have it there?

Also has he ever met Rachel?

I want him back at Burnt Offering power levels.

Yeah, I just hope Blink fits in as well.
