First one is from X-Men World's apart

Second is probably from that s**ty crossover in the 90's. You know, where Wolverine beats Lobo, Storm beats Wonder Woman, and the stupidity of the comic buying public was laid to bare.....:(

I may be wrong but I have that graphic novel at home and there isn't a story with Cyclops and Batman. It might have been in an another one.

Yeah, definitely not from the Marvel Vs DC comic. Maybe one of the JLA/Avenger arcs?

It's the sequel. Full Access or something, anyway rifts show up in both universes and characters from both fall through. Eventually it's 90's X-Men vs Big 7 JLA. X-Men beat them and Cyke downs Batman. Never mind that the JLA should wipe the floor with them.

Well I didn't really like it :o they should do one out of continuity...

It's not Marvel but...

how far into Irredeemable does Incoruptible start? And do they run parallel from then on? (I havn't started reading either yet)

When will the X-Men become Marvel's premier #1 superteam again? all the focus on the Avengers is only due to the movies.

Bendis is taking over the X-Men, so prepare for sales to jump through the roof.

^ Oh I can't wait because of course everything Bendis writes is gold.

I didn't say anything about the quality.

Uncanny X-men and Wolverine and the X-men still consistently beat Avengers titles, despite the continuing push of the Avengers. Hence the creation of Uncanny Avengers...

Uncanny X-men was the best selling ongoing for Marvel last month.

It will be a long while before the X-Men reclaim the spot they had. It may never happen again. I personally don't hold out any hope now that Bendis has the reigns.

Personally, I'd rather the FF were THE team again.

Back in the 60's, I imagine.

Yup.

I'd also like to point out that the movie wasn't what made the Avengers THE team, it was Bendis and Joey Q making a conscious effort to make them the main team of the MU. You wanna make a team the focal point, then you simply MAKE them the focal point. Want the FF to be the team? Well do a company wide crossover where they're in the spotlight. Tell the comic buying public that this is important. The the future of the entire Marvel Universe will forever be changed cuz of what is going on in this comic, and people will follow suit.

In a way that makes good sense, if you look over at DC they were pushing Green Lantern with the GL RebirthBlackest Knight company wide crossover that I actually now considered GL a cool superhero, it's just too bad the movie had a lack of a good story and that it featured Ryan Reynold's in it.

With the FF I don't think even a big crossover can make them #1, the comic in and of itself has always been boring.

You've clearly never really read the Fantastic Four then, cuz I can tell you right now that comic has had some truly awesome runs. Read the Waid/Ringo run and tell me they're boring. :o

It doesn't really matter to me what's being hyped the most or built as THE team. Overexposure hasn't made me like the Avengers more. X-men was at it's most exposed in the 90s, and the only thing I like from that decade was the cartoon. I only want good stories being told.

And wouldn't Bendis writing X-men help sales (which are very good right now even)? Everything he does seems to have to be "important."
