Wow I own and read OMIT and I completely forgot all that happened. All I remembered was Peter missing his wedding because of a thief and feeling that they should've left this entire Mephisto debacle behind because I was finally forgetting about OMD and enjoying Spiderman again.

I'm sorry :csad:

They really just need to come out with a story that reveals Franklin can't age beyond a certain point (like Webster). Then that will no longer be an issue.

I found this funny. :yay:

Has anyone read the Venom run since he's been in Philly? I was thinking about picking it up. Based on the previews I've read so far, I'm on the fence.

I don't know about others, but I found it interesting. It built up Flash a lot more, gave him a new life and supporting cast of sorts. Plus Brock comes back. :woot:

The X-Men seem to be the most obvious aged characters.

For the most part, yes, but it still can still vary between characters. You look at Cyclops and it's pretty much apparent he went from a 16-17 year old boy to a man now I'd say in his early to mid 30s. And then you have Emma Frost who when you first meet her you could sense she had at least 10 years over the X-Men in 1980, but then back in Morrison's run when the Cuckoos insulted her for being "old" she says she's actually 27. Not to mention Iceman who went from 15 in 1963, to an adult in his late 20s-early 30s by 1996, to a guys who acts like he's barely hit 21 today.

Emma was not a 27 year old in New X-Men...lol. It's not uncommon for women as vain as her to turn "27", 10 years in a row. Just saying...

Heck they can even tie it into his mutation.

No, it still occurred. There was a storyline in ASM called One Moment In Time (OMIT) that explains how things were changed by Mephisto. Basically, Dr. Strange, Tony Stark and Reed Richards all get together and Strange does a spell bubble where anyone inside of it would remember. Peter was going to go in there by himself but at the last minute pulled an unconscious MJ in. She was pissed at him when she woke up and found out and it led to their breakup.

Wow... that is stupid.

I'm glad I didn't even attempt to read OMD/OMIT/BND.

Thank you!

You saved yourself a lot of pain in that. I wish I were as lucky as you.

I just read X-Club and I have much man love for Doctor Nemesis. What else has he been in as a major character?

Not many places really. He was a D list character from the Golden Age that Fraction dusted off and used and used well might I add. Uncanny X-Men #512 was one of Fraction's finer issues during his run.

Aw. I like the whole club but Nemesis is something special. He's like a supervillain with less of an ego to bruise. He's right, he knows he's right and he doesn't care if you think he is as he'll goddam well prove it right now! Not to mention he's funny as ****.

He's currently in Cable & X-Force. I actually miss him, as I don't read that title. He was one of the bright spots to come out of Fraction's Uncanny X-Men run.

I really enjoyed the good Doctor when I read him in a random X-men guest appearance and wanted to see more of him. He was part of the reason I checked out Cable and X-force. Sadly I just missed several issues and didn't feel all that enthusiastic to return to it.

He isn't his usual self in the Cable & X-Force series.

^Another reason why I was less enthused to continue heh. (Plus the new look he's sporting just...nay...NAY I say!)

Not counting the Dead Girl mini from a few years back and Doop, has anything happened with X-Force/X-Statix?

No.

The only other thing that run affected was creating a character for a random throwaway panel who was then used in Terri's Weapon X run. I forget his name, but he was made of water.

So I'm rooting through my 90s comics and thought of a BND question I don't know the answer to.

Harry Osborn apparently didn't die but somehow recovered in Paris or something like that, right? And to the best of my knowledge he and Peter were friends again in BND, right?

Did they over cover Harry's tricking Peter into believing his Parents had returned? That's not exactly something people just get over and become chummy after.

It was covered in ASM #581 (BND). Norman hired Mysterio to swap a body with Harry's.

The parents thing....well, Harry set all that stuff into motion while he was still evil and before he died in Spectacular #200. Peter was well aware of Harry's mental state at the time. I'm sure it's not an easy thing to forgive but it's not completely baffling (at least to me).

Were his parents brought up or were they just ignored? Something like that that led to Peter's mental breakdown should really be dealt with. I'm just curious if it was or if it was just glossed over to get the comic back to 70s/80s Spidey.

How many futures does Bishop come from? :p

His first one was with Onslaught killing everyone and then he says it was Hope.

I don't recall that part being specifically brought up.

His future keeps changing because he's in the present getting caught up in certain events. Originally, he learned of the X-Men traitor through video footage. Since he ended up in the present and was there to prevent Onslaught from killing the X-Men, his future changed into the Hope one. I'm sure one day it will change again when the storyline requires it. :oldrazz:

In Uncanny X-Men, after the incident on the helicarrier with Cyclops' team, was Dazzler poisoned or was she drugged and now being held captive somewhere?

Just curious, with all the timeline hopping relatives and space based family, is the Summers/Grey line the most convoluted family in comics? I honestly can't think of another that's even close to it.

I have to go back and reread Uncanny but I'm pretty sure "Agent Dazzler" has been Mystique in disguise since before Battle of the Atom.

I think he knows that. He's asking what happend to Dazzler. We dont know. She could be dead for all we know. Her fate was left up in the air.

Has been since the mid 90s
