he could suit a number of different roles. riddler, black mask , scarecrow , maybe even mad hatter ... but damnit, i wanted him for joker. i felt it in my bones that he should've been joker, lol.

i mean, if they ever decided to go the "death in the family " route ( not really saying they should, lol ) , this'd be a good way to go about it (SPOILERS FOR SEASON 2 OF HANNIBAL AND IS ALSO RATHER GORY AND STUFF , BE WARNED )

He was SO creepy as Mason Verger. I was a little sad he didn't come back for the third season and was recast.
I can definitely see him as The Riddler.

yeah , i think it was due to scheduling . Joe Anderson did a fantastic job in his place, though.

i could see him as riddler , black mask, maybe scarecrow or mad hatter ( i think his weird hairdo on hannibal and the fact that mason was meant to be a pedophile made me think along those lines, but he might be a bit tall for that role. ) , but his most obvious fit would be for the joker IMO.

Yeah, it was practically an audition for the Joker, I think. I loved it. It was like a combination of the Heath Ledger take and Scott Snyder version.

Personally, I'm glad we're getting something wholly new but had been rooting for Michael Pitt while I was watching that season of Hannibal.

i think i started rooting for him in the role ever since i saw him in funny games. even in bully, i think.
