Monica Bellucci and Clive Owen f**king while in the midst of a shoot out. Giamatti playing a psychopath. A Gun fight in mid air! What's not to love?

I did like Shoot 'Em Up, actually. But I figured I'd err on the side of respectable movies since XEdge cited it like it was supposed to be a bad thing.

lol.........I just realized I wrote Shoot Me Up ( which sounds........wrong ) instead of Shoot em Up. just made the edit to my post.

and no, I wasn't trying to say it was a bad movie or anything. I'm just not familiar with Owen's work. I just remember catching that movie while skipping through channels late at night and was like..........wtf is this? ( in a this is weird but kind of cool way, of course ).

Bent was a good one. He played a Homosexual in a concentration camp in Nazi Germany.

Children of Men is probably his best, as far as I'm concerned. Closer was also quite good, although he's a total d-bag in it. And Inside Man is about as fun as any other heist movie.

Shoot Em Up is the best movie in the universe to catch on a random movie channel at 2am having no previous idea it existed.

Children of Men is probably his best, as far as I'm concerned. Closer was also quite good, although he's a total d-bag in it. And Inside Man is about as fun as any other heist movie.

I don't know if I'd say he was a Total D-bag in that. Everybody was a piece of s**t really. Well, everybody except Alice, and even then she was shady as hell.

He's in negotiations so almost as good as cast. The article also said Sean Penn and Clive Owen were considered but either turned it down or weren't preferred to Crowe.

Maybe Clive didn't get Jor-el because they've decided on him for another role... Lex Luthor perhaps?

I know, I know, at this stage it's like 'dream on' lol

It's just exciting to see his name related to the casting even remotely after having wanted him to be considered for so long.

Crowe is just too much of a real life scumbag, he carries that into every role he does, not suitable for Jor-El, but it could be worse, he could be Superman.

Doesn't really bother me. No one actually did much with their marriage, unlike Spider-Man and MJ's. It was never as much of a cornerstone of the characters' lives (at least, not in anything I read).
