The Owl movie was pretty cute fun, it gets very rushed at the end, but it's an enjoyable movie.

Aye, if I had the money to spare I would have saw the owl movie and Sucker punch by now, going by his first three movies, and what folk have said about those two, I'm sure I'd enjoy them.

It just baffles me that folk can't look at his first three movies and see the potentially great Superman movie this guy could have in him.

so.....have we heard anymore about what Kara's new powers will be?

I hate to open this can of worms, but I though Zack Snyder's Ultimate Cut of Watchmen, which had the cartoon added, was the best superhero movie to date. It had everything.

They are apparently going to give her powers akin to Fred Dukes, aka the Blob, apparently she is set to become some kind of comfort eater, so naturally that's how her powers will evolve.

So wish you had said can of beans there.

No. Lex baked those cakes himself.........:o

anyways, I actually think it will be interesting to explore a world that is fearful/hostile towards Supes.

I wonder if that will be played out in the MOS movie, as well.

Lex has learned his lesson and stopped his cake stealing

If it is I hope he's able to win over the public and earn their trust

I like that Superman is an inspiration to the people of the dcu to try and be good to each other :)

Baffles me too.

I really like Snyders films.

I don't tend to pay much attention to the directors name when I pick up a film. But long before Snyder was attached to MOS I loved 300 and Watchmen, without even knowing they were done by the same person.

Snyder is the only director to ever have me feel like what I'm watching is art.

In certain scenes, you can see the purpose in every single shot, slowly picked out and arranged for maximum emotional effect (the almost rape scene in Watchmen springs to mind).

And there is something so passionate about the way he talks about his films. He's full of energy.

I really don't know what people's problem with him is.

I think it's interesting to see Daily Planet focus on the colleteral damage and bad mouthing Superman, you'd think Clark Kent would try to sway how much good Superman does, infact that might be his motivation to work on the news agency.

Superman will win over their trust by baking bigger and tastier cakes than Lex, using an ancient Kryptonian recipe passed down in the house of El.

as they say, the way to a person's heart is through their stomach.......or something like that.......

there is no way they will play the story like that at all, that would just make him look like he was guilty of some kind of alien subterfuge, like the protesters might accuse him of, trying to get personal prejudice into the press, where it should be even handed.

He will just be a normal guy wanting a decent, interesting job like everyone else, and one that keeps him appraised of what is going on in the world which will help his Superman gig. He will naturally gravitate towards the reporters who want to report the truth, in the even handed way that the press are supposed to report the news.

Nah but i mean they would focus on Superman busting corrupt politicians and evil schemes instead of "oh noes colleteral damage is up to millions!" :p

Superman has super baking powers which is just one more reason he is amazing

I, for one, would not be getting all up in Superman's face like that.

No, the main point of your post was to say that the reason Clark might take the job at the Planet would be to sway public opinion to see Superman in a positive light, and i was saying that if that were his reasons for taking the job, it would underminine his integrity as a journalist.

In actual fact, it's an interesting question anyway, where does he draw the line in reporting on the positive aspects of Superman?
Because with reporting on yourself, unbeknownst to others, there is a line being crossed with journalistic integrity.

I would guess that the only way to see yourself as unbiased, would be to be brutally honest with yourself, like, if he was not as great on a job as he could have been for whatever reason, and there was some collateral damage to property or people because of that, he should report on Superman's carelessness, or amatuer type mistakes(whatever Clark felt was the truth behind the job not being up to scratch). Whereas, if there was no avoiding some damage in the pursuit of more lives being saved, he should report on the job with Superman in more of a positive light.

Well bad use of words, i meant that Clark would showcase the world how much good Superman is doing and do article that puts the corrupt people on pressure like "****! The media is unto us! we can't make anymore screw ups or we're busted"

Well showing the world that he's doing good, not just colleteral damage. :p

Sadly it's not in any bigger size. :( Source is media.npr.org's Morrison Supergods article

That arts looking pretty neat. I'm looking forward to Morrisons Action Comics right now I'm really interested to see what he's got planned for the character

I hope he uses some of his rogues gallery as well as Lex I think he could do some really interesting things with them

Not to be insulting, but that art looks so good, it doesn't even look like Rags drew it.
