This Spaceman/Adam character is obviously Captain Comet
Eh, not always. Back in 2005, DC drastically changed their logo for the first time in a long time, and everyone freaked out about how ugly and un-iconic it was, and how it was the herald to the end of all things...
7 years later, it seemed like a perfectly ingrained part of DC Comics that people were actually disappointed to see go.
And that's exactly what'll happen with the Superman suit. New readers and fans picked up from the upcoming (trunk-less) MOS movie won't even notice, most old fans will just grow accustomed to it and start to not even notice it, and the only small fragment of the populace who actually does continue to care will be viewed as pointlessly petty and bitter.

Sigh.Well that sucks.Really wish Comic book writers let go of off petty feuds.Im pretty sure Lobdells gonna suck and then well have to change creative teams again. Its just too freaking embarrasing.I can think of anyone else who can handle the Superman title-I maen we cant clone Morrison. Not gonna happen. Waid isn't fond of DiDio and then DC up and promoted the guy.
Actually its more like a fusion character between captain comet and the first supermanIt's supposed to be the first Superman that Siegal and Shuster created...which makes me wonder how they got the rights for him......
IMO Superman: Earth One and Action are tied for first and Smallville is second. Smallville is actually a great comic. It's kinda sad that Superman Beyond is probably the second best Superman title being published currently.![]()
If you read the monthly ongoing it is very good if you read the digital it falls off. The stories are much better when collected.1). Earth One isn't an ongoing so it wouldn't count even if it was good.
2). I read one issue of Smallville and immediately regretted spending the dollar.
That's ********.
A good story should be a good story no matter how you read it.
Wasn't the first Superman that Siegel and Schuster created basically Lex Luthor with mental powers? It's supposed to be the first Superman that Siegal and Shuster created...which makes me wonder how they got the rights for him......
Basically DiDio was a jackass going up and down the halls of the DC offices saying how much he hated 52. Steve Wacker tried to shield Waid, Johns, Morrison, and Rucka from DiDio's tirades. And then he put salt on the wound saying that Countdown was 52 done right. So whats the feud between Didio and Waid about?
