Still on my quest to read every issue of action comics: Action Comics 59 from 1943, Clark gets stuck baby sitting Lois' niece Susie. She's a bratty kid who wants candy and won't go to sleep. Clark decides to read her Cinderella in hopes she'll fall asleep. Instead, Clark falls asleep and dreams the Cinderella fairy tale with superman in place of the fairy godmother.

Lois' niece Susie is currently featured in Grant Morrison's Action Comics.

Bleeding Cool says Diggle's Action Comics debut will be bumped back to #19. Morrison needs one extra issue to finish his story.

Just read the latest He'l story segment in Superboy........"SIGH"

This started out as pretty interesting ....But now......Now they are dragging this thing waaaay out with Superman and Superboy hopping around other dimensions????

And this art work is just horrible.....lazy , sketchy pencils......

It prolly will be resolved in one issue, it's not that bad. Plus I'm betting that this dimension hopping will allow superboys genetic problems fix themselves.

Superman:Braniac was short and felt like more build up to a bigger story than just a story to read.

How has Morrison's run on Action Comics been overall? Trying to decide whether I should check it out and jump on board

Personally, I think it is ok but nothing to wow at. It has just been meh.

Pretty epic in scope but also could seem pretty unfocused initially to the less patient reader. I've liked it a lot personally but I'm also a pretty big Morrison fan especially his take on Superman. I would say like many of his other works it could be polarizing. It's almost finished already so you might as well wait for the complete trades to come out.

It's been great, but it feels like DC kinda stop caring about it editorially after issue 12 or so. Which was rather disappointing.

Does anyone know when The Scott Snyder and Jim lee's Superman Issues come out?

It hasn't been solicited yet, but I would guess they'd want to put out the first issue around the time Man of Steel is released in theaters. I'm guessing June/July.

YAY!

This should be posted (in tags cause it's huge).

To bad it's not in continuity.

Actually it's better that it's not continuity. Much more freedom. Some of the greatest Superman stories ever are non-canonical. This is definitely the title I'm replacing Action with once Morrison leaves.

we would trade the snyder/lee ongoing for a parker/samnee ongoing ioo

superman just got over doubting himself

and snyder loves making the heroes doubt themselves V_V
