Someone flipped half the image and made a concept of the full suit.

NOTE: Due to the angle of the way Hemsworth was facing in the shot, the Cape on the left side looks off, but an actual shot would be at more of an angle than that. It would be a bit more tilted for an actual shot.

I see Thor was drawn a lot more "realistically" in that cover. Maybe it IS a preview of Chris as Thor. So far the suit and hammer are practically identical.

It's...it's....PERFECT!

Lightings perfect, texture's perfect, positioning's perfect!

The Loki in the background makes it even better!


The only problem is that there is an extra little line going down the center. It should be two.

Apart from that, it's the most beautiful manip I have ever seen on any thread, ever.

Let me get this straight, from what we already know Loki, The Destroyer, Frost Giants and possibly the Excutioner are all in the Thor movie!? This is some major hammer time!

I don't think the previous Marvel films can compete, Thor is going to do to them what charter schools are doing to the NYC DOE, make them look bad!!

It's basically identical, the hammer handle is kind of lengthy.

I bet it's something like "So we had to have shots for Thor in different scenes for fighting, stunts, flying, posing, nightshots, sunlight and that first official pic of Chris released on Mayday 2010 was the rubber version for the tumbling stuntwork"
"We just gleamed and 'metalled' it up in post later..."
That's my presumption, anyway.
