I always thought Bruce Banner was the opinionated human side iof the Hulk, and Hulk was the monstrous raging mindless part of him.

I understand that for a comic book, it was quite useful to have the monster talking, specially if he was the main character.

In the end I’m more worried about how ridiculous it might be for a green giant monster to talk, whether describing what he’s doing (redundancy) expressing opinions or, in Abomination’s case, throwing generic action movie cliché-lines on a movie that I'm wanting to take seriously.

No, Hulk and Banner have their own separate opinions. The Banner - Hulk relationship is very intricate. There were times where Banner was removed from Hulk and you got the Savage Hulk, other times the Gravage and still more the mindless or animistic Hulk. Hulk is quite a bit more than Banner's rage unleashed.

I don't get the green monster talking argument. It makes no sense to me. We've seen all sorts of weird and weirder looking creatures and monsters talking in movies and no ones complained about them before. Look at Star Wars, Pirates, Star Trek, Narnia, LOTRS...etc.

Exactly. I watched the entire thing in HD frame-by-frame and noticed that Hulk pummels Abomb with the police car until it disintegrates into just a steering column in his hand. Also noticed that Abomb spits out a bunch of teeth before his "is that all you got" line. I thought it was just one. Pretty funny.

I love how when Hulk goes to deliver that blow he grabs Abomination right by the freaking rib cage! Absolutely awesome.

Do me a favor, put me on ignore, please. It annoys the hell out of me that people start to cry when not everyone is jerking off to every new bit of Hulk footage.

I like the action and how everything looks. But the car bit is pointless when his fists are so much more effective.
