For me it's the Dark Knight fans that are killing it for me. Batman is my favorite superhero and I love the movie series but at this point I'm hoping it bombs out of spite and I'm curious to see what a mass suicide looks like.

I saw this on the "money" thread and it makes a good point about these Batfans making one too many enemies here...

Batman fans might want to be a little bit more careful. They really have short term vision. I just want to know what they think they're going to accomplish with their veiled or not so veiled attempts at agitating Marvel/Hulk fans? Prove their superiority? Prove their prognostication skills? Somehow help Dark Knight by perpetuating a fake negative buzz against its alleged competition? What?

The only thing they're doing is creating a backlash environment that could potentially bite TDK in the ass. Remember a couple of things... 1) Marvel fans are legion and 2) Incredible Hulk will be playing across the hall from TDK. It's not very hard to pay to see Hulk but walk in to view TDK. I'm not advocating it at this time. I say let each film rightfully earn what is theirs to earn but if this constant one-way agitation continues through June, all bets are off.

First of all Sin City is the best adaptation to date
Batman Begins is the best film overall out of comics
300 was the most visually stunning and did it's thing with CG
Spiderman is the top grossing due to cheese and corneyness making kids as low as 5yrs old accept it and go for second viewings with daddy and mommy

Ironman was...good

Hulk will not even scrape Ironman's 2nd week. Hulk is just not that cool and Ironman looked better in the effects department. Hulk looks very cartoony and will stray a lot of average adults. The trailers have no substance but ACTION and people are getting beyond that type of marketing.

Sin city was an alright movie, nothing for the record books.
Batman Begins is so boring I can't even stand to watch that peice of crud. The film spent more time doing facial close ups than any other film I've ever seen.
300 I agree on acept I could only stand to watch it once because after that it loses it's flair.
Spider-man is by far the best origin comic film to date. Only the original superman and ironman can come close to this.

Now the reason your over here on the hulk board is because your a DC fanboy and have nothing better to do because you can only talk about the over hyped Dark knight or the never gonna happen superman sequel, since you know no one cares about the other DC properties since the other characters are boring and unliked. I truely pitty you.

Where did you hear this? Any news if whether or not he'll be speaking beyond that?? Up until now, I read that Abomination was going to be mute. I guess this proves there's still hope for a verbal Hulk.
When they make The Avengers movie I'm hoping they'll give us the more intelligent version of The Hulk. Such as Hulk from Avengers no# 1/ Mr. Fixit Hulk. Most people I run into who aren't familiar with the comics don't seem to have a clue that The Hulk can actually speak.

Ah- 15 minutes, eh? well... that's definitely not bad! At least now I won't feel let down when it turns out not to be that lengthy! And he's right- that would be a long time to watch to 2 monstres go at it.

Although i've been in fights that have lasted half an hour... why not Hulk??

Spidey, I agree with you wholeheartedly and 100% with everything but Sin City, do I find it to be the best adaptation? ....Not... really, but I don't find it sexist.

Heck, if you are referring to what I think you are, the movie is called Sin City. And they sure as heck showed just as many women kicking the crap out of people as men.

But ah well, I guess I could see where you are coming from.

But man do I have to agree with 300... oof! Waste of film in my book. (Boy you should have seen the reactions/hate mail I got when that review went to print!)

One last thing. Has anyone noticed that Abomination appears to have lost his "british accent" in this form? I guess gamma monsters don't always retain their human side's foreign accents..... "Oh hell", who cares? The Abomination sounds awesome. This flick's gonna kick ass!

As I said in my post though; I highly doubt it would be the case anyway, more a less he just has a particular taste. Either way, he has an annoying way of expressing it. Much like a gnat trying to get your attention... ugh.

BB only made like 84% if I'm not mistaken and SP1 made 89% and SP2 made 92%, waaay more than BB. IMO the only reason the fans loved BB soo much because the last ones sucked really really badly. There are too many flaws in that movie as compared to spiderman 1 and 2 and Iron Man. A microwave emitter? Who knew microwaves were that deadly? That story was pretty silly but everyone didn't care because it was loads better than the last ones that ruined the franchise.

I'll spare you what they can actually do, and what they really do to your food, but to be perfectly honest I'll give you a hint: it's not good. So yeah, microwaves can be nasty.

I thought the story was great. It was the whole "threat" aspect that was a bit lacking. (Meaning no central threat, which is obviously coming into play in the sequel.)
