The Official TIH Preview Thread

Yeah that was one great fight, felt really epic, having the whole city as their arena, just like it's going to be between Hulk and Abomb. To me the ending will be crucial to the battle though, if hulk goes with the cliche ending of killing abomb I would be slightly disappointed.

As will I. I'd just like to see him beat Abom within an inch of his life only to be stopped short of killing him. Of course Ross and the Army should pack up Blonksy and send him away to a remote containment facility so he's not a danger to civilians, well at least until the next time he's needed as Hulk's foil. :cwink:

Yeah send him to a research facility, that's headed by one Samuel Sterns :cwink:.

Yeah, and the one stopping Hulk from killing him should be Betty. Which I guess will happen.

I have some ideas for a story like that.

Ross finds out that Blonsky was a Russian spy all along and put on a British accent as he was sending top US army secrets back to his homeland.

Leader gets hold of Abomination and pursuades him to take an injection of serum [BLACKOUT](reptilian type serum would work because in the first draft Sterns has been testing Banner's blood on animals to see the effects it has and the most successful test could be on a reptile)[/BLACKOUT] which makes Abomination mutate into a larger more powerful creature with much more resembalance to his classic look.

Banner hiding out in Hawaii with a friend called Enrico Jonas.

Abomination trying to search for Banner to kill him after Hulk humilated him and as he travels to Hawaii he goes to Russia first where he accidently kills his wife Nadia which makes Abomination go ape and blame Banner for everything as he cannot change back.

Hulk and Abomination fight at dusk in Hawaii causing a volcano to erupt, lava spewing all over these beasts and they heal back their skin.

Hulk battling Ross' Hulkbuster suits thanks to Tony Stark.

And Hulk finally meeting the Leader.

There you go, one sequel for you. Copyright Sarg92. If Louis is reading this message me! :oldrazz:

Just out of curiosity, what is Abomination's "Classic" look?

Exactly, Hulks hand are probably ten times tougher than that car.

Ugh, i was hoping this movie would go beyond the "we'll put it in because it looks cool approach" but i was pretty certain from the start this would be a "cool" looking action fest rather than anything deep.

Would you prefer? Something that is dull and unimaginative...or would you prefer something that looks COOL? :word:

It's an beat down action sequence what do you prefer?

As incredibly good as this movie is shaping up to be so far, is anybody else, besides me, a little worried that they are going to wind up showing us the best parts of the movie before it even comes out? I mean with the few trailers that we have got and the clips that we have got. I just hope that they aren't showing too much before the movie's release.

If the film has stayed close to the script I read then we've only seen the tip of the iceberg.

I don't think so. All the scenes shown including the trailers are all less than 2 minutes and 40 seconds. The 3 new scenes shown are all the same extended clips from the trailer.

I for one will not watch anymore new clips. I want the shock value.

I know what you mean about revealing too much, imo Iron Man revealed too much of the action sequences to the point where I actually wasn't impressed by them in the movie because of previously seeing them. I'm a dude btw lol.

I think because Iron Man was fairly unknown property, that the studio wanted to assure yhe fans that the movie had more to it than just the action sequences from the trailers.

Hulk doesn't need the same treatment although I understand that they will show the first few minutes of the movie in the near future.

I think releasing the first few minutes of the movie would be a brilliant idea, it sets the mood for the entire movie and will let people know what kind of movie this will be. IMO from the script those first 3 minutes are great and will have a big impact, I hope they have decided to release them early like LL said.

I'd prefer somthing with some thought and intellegence behind it.

Tougher yes but not sharper and less likely to pierce Abombs really tough skin. Think of it this way, the car provides the need to split Abomb's skin, once that is done Hulk can pound on it, widening the cut, causing further damage.

Well thats stupid also, because metal should not be able to pierce Abom's skin, it doesnt pierce the Hulk's.

Several people have provided intelligence behind the using the steel fists in this thread. Even when you watch the scene Hulk puts thought into using the police car, he doesn't just grab the nearest thing to hit abomb with, he looks at the police car, decides it's needed, rips it in two and then proceeds to knock abomb on his ass.

its simple and straight to the point. The dialogue doesnt take you away from the scene, thats the best we can ask for. I like that, form tat scene, Hulk isnt interested in talking, he's not going to waste his time with that s**t, he's just there to kick his a$$.

As cool as the scene looked, I really hope they don't rip too many moves from the games. The last thing I want to see Hulk do, is to use a bus to skate around.

We're talking about sharp metal with a heck of alot of force behind it it (hulk), it's more likely to penetrate Abomb's skin than just hulks hands are.

It's called force.

Tornadoes have been known to send vinyl piercing through trees, 2X4's through brick, in other words something that may be relatively harmless can become lethal with enough force behind it. A bullet for instance.

Physics 101.

in the movie, bothof them a less powerfull than they are in the comics. Even when hulk punches him, it doesnt effect Abom that much, just knocks him off his balance. They only give him little scratches, the real damage is done by Hulk's big f**kin hand smashing into Abom's face at a 100miles an hour.

Maybe if he'd use something more durable than a car. Like a sharpened steel girder.

doubt that will happen :D ;)

I do not really want to get too much into this debate as I see it is pointless and just another thing that people can pick and moan about.

Hulk is smaller than Abomination in the movie. Hulk smashes Abomination with the car several times until there is no part of the car left, this force sends Abomination sinking into the ground and knocking him about as Abomination swings for Hulk but Hulk dodges, leans back and uses the car as extra reach to attack Abomination. The scene starts with Hulk getting up from the floor right, Abomination probably sent him flying, Hulk probably cannot get close to Abomination for punching him as Abomination is much larger with more reach but the car fixes this problem for Hulk.

And as Kirmit said that the metal is sharp so it penetrates Abomination's skin.

And after all this you see Hulk grab Abomination's ribs and practically squeeze it so the car probably got rid of any skin that was preventing Hulk to do this before.

But like I said I do not want to get into this debate. The scene looked great and everyone who saw it say it is awesome.
