The Official TIH Preview Thread

You know, everytime I watch this clip I keep hoping that the next "26 minutes" or so will be even cooler. I hope that wasn't the best part of the fight.

You seem 40 seconds of a 15 minute scene. I doubt thats the COOLEST part of the fight (especially given the novel).

Louis Leterrier was misinterperated, the final act is 26 minutes with the actual battle being 10-15 minutes. Leterrier says it is still pretty lengthy but a 26 minute battle would get boring as there is only so much you can do with two monsters.

Maybe...15 minutes would be nice though. But it had better be super EPIC. Like Abomy better not seem like a total waste.

Ohh yes, I have seen this.

I thought it was something new, my net is capped so I have not had acess to all the info.

Thanks anyway CS.

:)

I want hulk to say short but meaningful things like

"Hulk loves Betty"

"Hulk wants to be alone"

Or maybe something like in the cartoon, when he looks at a stone gargoyle after Betty told him something mean (to save him) and he said something like "Stone lucky. Doesnt hurt, like Hulk"

That broke my heart

The matter is: is he actually called "Hulk", in the movie?
I really hope he is, but that needs a sort of solid introduction....

According to the novel [BLACKOUT]People are chanting and cheering "Hulk! Hulk! Hulk!" after he takes down the Abomination. He is also called Hulk by the press early in the novel as well.[/BLACKOUT]

In the first draft it was the US Army that name him Hulk just like the very first Hulk comic right?

In the first draft, there's a news report where one Mr. Kevin Feige calls him an "incredible hulk." Later on, the crowd chants his name after the fight with Blonsky.

Honestly, I can give a crap less what you said, because I wasn't talking to you. I was just making a broad general statement, not backing anyone else's opinions on the matter. :o
oooh...am I hurting your feelings?
you quoted me. I answered. next time you say something, make it clear.

he should have been more specific.
but 15 min is certainly a lot. I was a bit concerned about a 26 min fight.

It's been said elsewhere that the final act is 26 minutes, not just teh fight scene. I only restate this so people do not expect 26 minutes of brawling.
Having made that clear, the clip that we got still looks like just the warm-up to me. :woot:

Anyone else notice that Abomb is slightly greener than he was in the trailer?

Hmmm I'll have to look again. Did you notice the cars shaking when the Hulk is punching Abomy? Pretty cool stuff. Wonder what other surprises Frenchy has in store for us :woot:

I agree. Now I'm starting to get as hyped as I was in 2003. To see The Hulk swatting at Blonski like a "fly" and the battle with Abomy is a geekgazum of epic proportions. Get out the spluge towels boys! :shock

Yeah he is greener.

Leterrier did say that Abomination is his dark gamma green in the comics if he was seen in daylight. He says Abomination is "new" and he is still kind of mutating, he has layers of skin which reflect light around him so when there is a fire he will seem orange. So if Abomination were to return in a sequel and is present in day and is fully developed then he will be green. Plus it could become awkard to see which monster is which when they fight at night, both being green, it could become hard to see who is who which is why Leterrier made him a different colour for just the fight. Remember TransFormers when the robots were fighting it was just one huge metal mash up!

How the heck do you know that? Link please. And if you believe there is only so much you can do with two giant monsters with no limit to their strength then you either A. haven't read the comics at all. Or B. have NO imagination and zero creativity.

That should be the subtitle to the sequel. Transformers: Metal Mash Up. I'd see it.

Leterrier said it at New York Comic-Con in an interview, not sure with what site but they were in a studio and the interview can be viewed from a video.

But could you come up with some ideas for two monsters in a 26 minute brawl? Something that does not get repeated in the fight. I'd like to read your ideas.

LoL! Thanks I guess!

Link please. But that sucks.

And you do realize that most big end fights are people just punching and kicking eachother? Now add the fact that they're the strongest beings on earth and can use the environment anyway they want to. It could last 2 whole hours and they could still be doing different things.

dude, its been confirmed, the last entire act is 26 minutes not just the fight, i mean we have to see what the other supporting characters are up to while hulk and abomy go at it.
so with that, the fight it self is 15 minutes, i'd give you a link but i dont have a definite one.

nuff' said.
