The Official TIH Video Game Thread

ok i lifted up a bus and guess what i found this has to be one of the coolest easter eggs in the game, i saw the daily bugle sigh on one of the busses i was picking up, it was so cool.
That's on all of the buses, you can even find The Daily Bugle itself in the game, just bring up the map screen and skim around for it, it's located as a Landmark so you'll be able to find it. In other news, I'm currently on one of the most ennoying missions of them all, it's the one where I have to protect the helicopter which is being piloted by Rick Jones. But it is so frickin' difficult. There are three men flying right behind the helicopter attacking it, when I take them out, more arrive, plus, Jones is horribly slow at landing the damn helicopter. So either A: I die, or B: the helicopter is destroyed. That`s bull $!%&.

Shiite and piss.

I wish I could say I didn't see that one coming. It's a shame, too. My only options at the moment are the Wii or the PS2.

Is this game GameCube controller compatible for the Wii?

I'm mad I went to Target & they didn't have this, then I went the Game Stop next to it & they also didn't have it. So I only bought Lego Indy.

I preordered the game from gamestop. when I did look around.. neither target or blockbuster had the game or rent or sale.

I saw the game at Target earlier today, but unfortunately I have little money.

how come i can't find it at blockbuster?, is it not for rent?

I have the Wii version and I enjoy it a lot. Sure it doesn't look like 360 or PS3 but it's fun regardless. Still can't find anymore comic covers.

how are the controls on the wii for the hulk game? is it better then the spidey 3 game?
I have done pretty good on this game.. I have gotten through alot of levels. I remember the UD being much harder. I am stuck on the satalite sigital fire that is pointing at hulk and you have to climb up the building and criss cross to the top.. anyone have any good tips?
I am on level 8 with the army.. I get helicopters. it only takes one hit to bring them down. I have been able to target them and bring them down. its alot of fun.
I thought the bi-beast would be difficult.. it was pretty easy.
same size at the spidey 3 for ps3/xb0x360. its 3 or 4 times as big then the UD game.
Jacob

^How big is the Sandbox?

IT'S THE SIZE OF MANHATTAN ISLAND, THE DEVELOPERS BOUGHT A DIGITAL RECREATION OF THE CITY FROM NASA AND USED IT TO CREATE THE CITY IN THE GAME!!! IT'S ABOUT 85 TO 90 PERCENT ACCURATE TO THE REAL THING, THEY DID A GREAT JOB ON IT!!!:D:up:

For the time being I still have a ps2, probably won't graduate to ps3 until its affordable to me...

Am I better off just waiting it out until that moment comes?

Also, I liked ultimate destruction lots, but I did get bored at the repetitiveness of it after a while and disliked the lack of supervillains, is this just a glossed over version of UD?

They really need to put out a download for the 360 to fix the freezing problem. =(

Insofar as you are Hulk and you are going around fighting people in a city from a third-person point of view, yes. Other than that, there are some things that, in my opinion, make this a better game. The most important of these is a combination of the presence of Havok physics in the game and the fact that just about everything is breakable/pick-up-able. It's like every time you pick up something and toss it down the street, you get a different reaction. You never know what is going to happen, and sometimes it's really funny. I could spend hours and hours just causing damage in the city and watching it play out, whereas causing damage led to the same result just about every time in UD.

The second thing I'll mention is the fact that there are two enemy factions that live in the city that are enemies with each other. If the Army and the Enclave happen to show up at the same time, they will fight each other, which is always fun to watch (or to instigate). You get some pretty funny/interesting things that happen when this occurs. Throw in the U-Foes randomly showing up and killing everyone and you get some pretty interesting and fun battles.

UD was a really good game for its time and is still pretty fun to play, but those who say that it's actually a better game are being a bit nostalgic, in my opinion. I'd say the only things UD has over the new game are the wall running, the funny stuff like bus surfing and the bosses. After playing the new game, you should go back and play UD, I guarantee you it's not what you remember, either in gameplay or (especially) graphics.

My main problem with the game so far (granted, I haven't played it much, it was a busy weekend) is the camera. Yes, you can manually move it, but sometimes in the heat of battle it moves to some real odd places where you can't even tell what's going on. So you have to stop fighting and move the camera where it needs to be.

I enjoy all the smashing though, although it's not quite as good as UD. Still better than the Iron Man game.

I was over at blockbuster today. they had the game for rent.. it was for the ps3, xbox 360 and the wii.

I'm playing it with ps2, ****ing thing crashed big time after about an hour.
Haven't bothered turning it back on, must of killed all my progress.

Sort of miss the wall run, but him digging up with his hands makes more sense.

Seems like it is full of glitches, I ended up inside a building somehow, a bus drove through me, somehow there was two tanks when i was guiding rick jones.... Plus the crash that was really uncalled for.

Anyways I got it for 3 days, should be enough to let me know if I want it or not.

There seems to be a little more variety in bad guys to fight.

I have only managed to stumble across one, it was a blue colored item. I only got it because I heard the buzzing noise when you get near one of the green or red cannisters and now the blue comics. dang, those suckers are going to be hard to find.

^Was what you played, fun?

If you liked UD then you'll love this, definitely UD 2.0, plus I'm probably playing the weakest version of the game.

Some how I threw a water tank off of a building and it levelled the building it hit, really ridiculous, don't know how that happened.

Game looks good, wish I had a real t.v., using my girlfriends 13 inch monstrosity, gotta sit 2 inches from the screen.

Plus I haven't had the chance to neutrilize the strike team, I triggered them before my first rick jones mission and they wouldn't stop coming, I did the hop for a while and then just started the mission.... Which was probably was all for naught since my ps2 crashed before I ever bothered saving
