It's been months and months of speculatiosn if he's going to be the next Superman in the JLA and now this.

Sure makes you wonder doesn't it? I wonder when the "shoot" was done? Does anyone know the lag time for magazines from "shoot to print"? Is it say 6 months?

Yeah, that's about right, or could be longer...

This shoot was in LA, so I wonder if this coincides with that little trip down to LA back in what? October? that got so many people talking...

Maybe that's all it was, him getting the shoot done, and not signing for JL but his very Clark-Kentish office attire is interesting...

I have no idea why I'm up, but I hoping someone can post higher quality images with all the moire and yellow shifting so I can post more on TW.org...

Or I may just have to get the mag and scan them in myself.

I think the timing of it is interesting at many levels.

Have you guys seen the movie 27 Dresses ? James Marsden played the lead in that movie and did a great job but I couldn't help but think that Tom would have been excellent in that role. They even have some physical similarities...

I haven't seen it but from the trailer I can see what you mean. I would love to see Tom in a romantic comedy. He's so perfect for that. He would also be good in an action adventure series but what I'd really love to see him get to do is something very dramatic and gritty. I think he would surprise a lot of people with how good he really is.

Indeed. But I think he could do just about anything he wanted. With hard work and a bit of luck he could follow Depp, Cruise, DiCaprio and Pitt footsteps who started being revered by his looks and then becoming a great actor.
What I love about him is that good or bad he takes chances. Does he always succeed. No, but he tries and pushed himself further as far as acting. You gotta love that.
As you said, he would be perfect for a romantic comedy and in 27 Dresses he would have been great. It's impossible to watch Marsden in there and don't see Tom in the same role. Who knows if that wasn't one of the movies that Gough made him loose ?
He would be awesome in a pure comedy (and would be even better if Rosenbaum was also in there, they would be histerical), action, drama, suspense, horror, you name it.
Tom can do it.

GOOD LORD Tom looks freaking INCREDIBLE as The Mild Mannered Reporter Clark Kent . This is the look I want too see in Season 8 .
