Jc, we don't go posting pics of Welling in Routh's thread over in the Supes' forum. Hell, I don't even read there any more. Why you posting that schitt here? Seriously? *sigh*
It wasn't meant to make fun of him clearly to give you guys a laugh
You= WAY out of line Agent Spat.
Jc, if you can't understand how posting manips of Routh in a thread titled "The Official Tom Welling Thread" - in a Smallville forum no less - is completely off topic, than you're pretty sad. Plus, you KNOW how much it bugs us. Why do you do it? You're not being funny. You're "peace offering" is anything but. And we most certainly don't "love it." Go post pics of Welling in the Routh thread and see if those folks "love it," or even find it funny.JcDc said:Interesting Spat conveniently ignores this

AgentPat said:Not worth it's own thread, but this is a beaut! In my daily travels for various Superman/Tom Welling/Smallville related news, I came across this nugget:
"Ben Affleck and Diane Lane are to take the starring roles in Truth, Justice and the American Way, the story of an LA detective determined to solve the mysterious death of TV's Superman, George Reeves. Adrien Brody has already been cast, as the DI investigating Reeves's death, while Affleck will play Reeves himself."

Hah! That's priceless. Ben Affleck as Superman. Well, sort of. I think I've heard everything now.![]()

I wasn't aware that it was ever a rumour, I said they would be making another one - I just wasn't sure when. Or if Tom will be in it. Piffle on you!AgentPat said:Ummm... Pssst! This is the first time I've seen it confirmed. It aint just a rumor anymore...

LOL I wasn't doubting you, James. I just hadn't seen anything about it in the trades until that Variety article.jas01724 said:I wasn't aware that it was ever a rumour, I said they would be making another one - I just wasn't sure when. Or if Tom will be in it. Piffle on you!![]()
Hey, e-mail me your photo sometime. Would love to put a face with the "character."5'10, built like a walking cane.![]()

I'm sure it was in the trades back in march or april of last year; something about having a script by summer 2004.AgentPat said:LOL I wasn't doubting you, James. I just hadn't seen anything about it in the trades until that Variety article.
No idea. I think they'll have Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt (I think), but beyond that it's up in the air.So whatdaya think? They gonna go with the original cast? Does Martin do sequels?
Not another one... lolHey, e-mail me your photo sometime. Would love to put a face with the "character."![]()

Interesting. Well, things will be heating up now, I guess, which is really great!jas01724 said:I'm sure it was in the trades back in march or April of last year; something about having a script by summer 2004.

Awwwwww! Most of my pics are old too. But I'll try to take a few this weekend. Not another one... lolI don't even have a camera. I swear on my own life -- which is precious to me, by the bye -- that the most recent photo of me is about 5 or 6 years old. I've changed a little since then.

That would be fun. Think folks would post in it? I gotta get a more up-to-date photo than the nefarious "beach photo" I posted last year. It was nice at the time, but like James, I've changed. For the better, of course. The Incredible Hulk said:we need to start a Smallville forum posters pics thread![]()
Lara said:It doesn't say anything different The Fog will be out on October 14th of this year. I don't mind him doing the CBTD seguel now that he's doing something else besides they will probably age Charlie he was a senior in the last one.
He'd be one helluva busy bee to do all three this year.triplet said:He really enjoyed the shoot last time and loved working with Bonnie Hunt and Steve Martin, so he'd probably do it again if his sked permits.

Variety still lists SV as wrapping on April 13th. Darkhorizons lists TF's filming dates to be March 14th thru May 16th at Lion's Gate Film Studios, Vancouver. With only two months of principle on TF, I'm guessing there will have to be a little creative shuffling of their lead between SV and TF sets.
And then SV picks back up again in July for S5, right? CBtD2 is possible IF it's shot after mid May and before July. Yikes. Welcome to the party, Tom. Get your sleep now, 'cause you aint gonna see much of it for a while. LOL
Hehehehe... you'd be surprised. Apparently, they didn't even have a script for TF a few months ago, and even Singerman was casting before the script was done. That said, I *think* if CBtD2 were going with the original cast, it would have to be coordinated around a LOT of people's skeds, not the least of which would be Steve Martin's. He's *always* working and pumping out films.triplet said:I was thinking more like next summer, not this one...
If they say now that the script is under development, is there any chance it would be ready in time for a May to July shoot?
I know a movie like that would not need quite as much pre-pro work as a FX heavy film would but isn't that kinda quick, nontheless?

AgentPat said:I'm just psyched over the big picture here. We're still getting SV weekly, we can look forward to Tom in the lead role of a John Carpenter film come October (pinch me, please!), and if he does CBtD2, I would imagine he'd get a little more screen time this time. And sheeeeit, we have no idea what Mr. W. is sitting on in terms of what comes after that. It's just so exciting to watch his career take off, no pun intended. LOL!!!![]()
