You might be disappointed by a PM because it literally amounts to: She moans, he puts her hands up against the wall... cut to next morning.

(I did my own little KSite-esque spoiler write-up though. It's over at my site.)

Speaking of your site, over on DTS Scarlett's deleted some images from threads that were identified as coming from your site but I couldn't find images on your site...

Am I missing something here?

BTW: nice spoilers.

Not really. There used to be pictures.

What happened was that I had loads of pictures that people could do anything they liked with, and a few pictures that I specifically asked people not to repost anywhere - I'd been asked to do my best to keep them on my site. I asked nicely but all I got in response was "if they're on the 'net we can do what we like with them!" So I got it in the neck from the people who had given the pictures to me, and I in turn got pissy with the people who reposted them - and eventually I asked people not to repost any pics with my site's watermark on them. Watermarked pics are still out there, obviously, and anytime Scarlett sees one she removes it.

I ended up taking down the whole gallery so that I wouldn't have to bother with it anymore, and believe me, it's easier this way.

I don't even particularly care about the pictures on DTS anymore, but after all the trouble it caused me I'm not going to tell them to stop removing them...

He posted it above:

INT. NICK'S BEACH HOUSE - NIGHT

Camera moves into a steamy bathroom, shower running, mirror, and glass door fogged. Elizabeth's hand presses against the shower glass, wipes clear a streak. Nick is behind her, kissing her shoulders, her neck, her ear...

You ever tried disabling right clicking?

That should get rid of the more casual reposters... There's probably a way around that, but most 14 year olds wouldn't know it.

Ugh, I detest superfluous code just for the sake of stopping some dumb little (or big) kid who's click-happy.

Check the source of my site if you like; then tell me to add a silly right-click disabler. :p

I've seen it a few times, thought I'd mention it but I don't know how to do it...

It's just a little piece of javascript code, but the problem is that it can also block clicking on things that some people (disabled people, for instance) might desperately need access to. It's not a good idea to block things out just for the sake of stopping a few pains in the butt...

You can block right-click, left-click, highlighting of text. You name it, it can be done. And all it does is make a mess.

Oh, gotcha.

You'd be surprised how many people who have vision problems (or are completely blind) use scanners and that is something that the engineers at work don't really design for.

We've had some problems with accessability issues with a UI change recently because of that.

I've told you this before, but I do wish you had a gallery on your site. Even if it's just an handful of pictures that are open to sharing. It just seems like a basic but necessary component for a fan site dedicated to one actor. People who surf in looking for TW info should be able to see some of his best pictures. It just makes the site more complete, IMO.

It's your call, but I'm just throwing my suggestion into the box again.

A gallery isn't a necessity, if it were I would have one.

Was just a suggestion. I'm not sure that rolling your eyes at me was a necessity either.

Hey, there was a TV Guide channel special on yesterday called "Bad To the Bone"

The first guy profiled was Smallville's very own Michael Rosenbaum.

Why am I posting it here, do you ask?

Well, there is a few seconds of tape of Tom Welling during filming of the green screen flight sequence included here....

I couldn't figure out how to make it a clip, so here's the whole the capture of the MR part of the special.

Broadband quality so it's big.

Maybe I'll capture just the green screen bit later...

I didn't roll my eyes at you, I rolled them at the suggestion that galleries are necessary to a successful site - my site stats say otherwise. It may have only been a suggestion, but it was one that I didn't ask for either time that you gave it, and both times I had already explained why I removed the dumb thing to start with - because it takes TOO MUCH EFFORT.

Would it help to know that i'm pretty seriously ill and that maintaining the site at all, nevermind with a huge image gallery, sometimes makes me come *this* close to passing out? I only wish I were just looking for sympathy...

I'm sorry to hear that you're ill.

:(

I'm sure Serene didn't mean it to start a fight.

Feel better soon.

Thanks.

I know she didn't mean to start a fight, and I don't mean to get mad, but when you say, "this takes too much effort," and then someone responds with, "you should do it anyway," it's incredibly irritating.

Taken to an extreme, it's like an ex-athlete with a serious heart condition being told to go back out on the field because the fans want to see it. The fans might want it, but the person you're telling to do it is likely to drop down dead! I'm not going to drop dead (I think), however I'd rather not be too exhausted to move, thanks muchly. ;)

I've been ill for years and I deal with it in the best way I can. One of those ways is to get rid of a dumb website if it starts to cause problems...

In an attempt at good faith, I'm sorry for snapping. I really am, for whatever it's worth.

I just don't know... is it really all that surprising that I'd be annoyed? This sappy little diatribe has been up on my site for all to read since last august:

The archives are an open book, it's pretty much all there. That the site is still online at all is enough for most people.

Nice read over at IGN. Here are a few excerpts:
(The entire article is much longer)

Big Heroes on the Small Screen: Part One
Our five part look at superheroes on TV begins with DC's finest.
by Chris Carle

March 18, 2005 - With the recent explosion of super hero flicks at the box office, it can't be long until every network co-opts the strategy and has your favorite tighted-one shouting snappy dialogue at his nemesis in prime time. But that's nothing new.

Television studios have always flirted with superhero series, with various degrees of success, but there have not been many lasting romances. The reasons for this are many and varied. To do a show right, for instance, the studios would need to pony up serious resources, and that's too much of a risk.

That's why the most successful and long-running superhero shows (Lois and Clark and Smallville are good examples) focus on the interpersonal relationships of the alter egos. Big-time hero action is reserved for either animation or the big screen. As CG effects get cheaper and more widespread, we can expect to see more and more raging superhero battles in our livingrooms. ...

...[Lois & Clark] focused on the romance between Lois Lane and a very dashing Clark Kent, and its light-hearted approach and wide appeal led to a tidy run from 1993-1997. It also marked a new and somewhat safer approach to the superhero show; a personal and dramatic take on the invincible.

This attitude continues with Smallville, which focuses on the Man of Steel's adolescence in his hometown, before he actually becomes Superman. It deals specifically with his early relationship with his then-friend Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) and Lana (Kristin Kreuk), a love interest. Tom Welling plays Clark Kent, and he's a big reason the show works, bringing freshness to the Superman mythos, and paving the way for more interesting origin tales on television...

The twins playing baby Evan in a sequence of "Ageless" will be Libby and Owen Stewart. Their mother posted the following account on their website:

"I had the opportunity to meet John Schneider aka Bo Duke! He's a super nice guy. We had a short chat about kids after he introduced himself. Then I met Tom Welling. Again, a super nice guy. During run through, he dropped the doll on the floor to freak me out. Yeah - very funny! Okay, it was a little funny once I realised it wasn't part of the actual scene. haha Libby seemed rather smitten by him. When we were filming as she stopped being fussy the second he picked her up. I also had a brief chat with Kristen Kreuk, who is also really nice. Annette O'Toole, yet another wonderfully friendly actress, and I had a chat about parenting and how cute the babies are."

This is sooo adorable I had to copy it fom K-site. I almost gave it it's own thread!

HAHAHAHAHA!!! What a d!ck! LMAO!! Sorry, I just find that wicked funny in a cruel but silly sort of way. I bet he had the whole crew laughing at that.

The kid has taste. I wouldn't be fussy if he picked me up either. :p

I wouldn't have thought that funny at all. I don't care how good lookin' he is.

Although this is a cute anedote this isn't just because... This would be pretty common reaction for any baby.

There've been several studies done that the more symetrical a face is (and Tom's is very symetrical), the more good looking it's considered.

And this is something babies recognize without any cultural conditioning. They react to certain feature sets either positively or negatively. They almost always react very positively to good looking faces and almost always very negatively to ugly ones.

I think this story as good as proves scientifically that Tom is good looking since even a baby less than a month old can recognize it.

:D

But of course, we didn't need to have a baby tell us that which we already knew.

I must be infinitely evil, because I'd probably do something like that. It's completely harmless but it freaks people out big time...

*adjusts halo*

I wouldn't have been very happy after this... I'm not sure what I would have done, but I wouldn't have thought it funny.
