He didn't write the Teen People piece, if that's what you mean.

I have that magazine laying around here somewhere. I wonder if Tom made it to the print version? I'll have to find it and see. I know I saw the Teen Hollywood headline on it.

I'm guessing he's not in the print version. The "Hollywood High" segment (as I mention on ye olde site) is recycled from a few months ago. I didn't see it the first time around so it is new to me, but I know it's not actually new.

However, his report on it had significant points of similarity to another site's report on article, which was made well after James'...

So, you can connect the dots there I believe.
Ah, the old dot-connecting game. Yeah, been there; done that; got the T-shirt last August. LOL ;)

On a different note, have you guys seen this yet:

Nice. Kinda. But Alex Ross still gets the blue ribbon for Big Blue, IMHO. :D

I don't like how he drew the face. It's just... I dunno... wrong. :(

Agreed. Absolutely no trace of The Pretty. :(

For the second day running, certain chumps who shall remain nameless have stolen news from me again. :p

It really doesn't make them look too good when they can't find anything without my help.

Another oddity: Everyone is saying how they'll hope Selma pushes The Fog in her appearance this friday the Tonight Show, but I think that would be extremely unlikely...

Maybe she'll mention it, but she's there to push her new film. She is the headlined guest, however, so she'll cross a commercial break... so maybe she'll time to talk about it and how hot Tom is in it! :D ;)

I'll watch it in any case, the only certain thing about her appearances on TV is that she'll be a lot of fun. I've seen her a time or two before and she's very unpredictable.

I guess hope does spring eternal, but chances of her doing more than mentioning The Fog are slim to none...

I could have mentioned Selma's talk show thingummy this time last week if I'd felt like it, but the chances of anything more than a brief mention are, as you say, slim.

(Note to chumps: If you take something from someone else, check it twice.)

But, alas, it is proof of yet another high profile comic book professional's approval of Tom Welling and Smallville.
Add Mike Stribling to the list which includes Jeph Loeb, Alex Ross, Mark Waid, & Carlos Palaguyan.

Somebody PM me or just come out and say it LOL. Which site are y'all talking about? I went to the main page of the usual suspect and didn't see anything about Selma's appearance on the Tonight Show. In fact, if Triplet hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have even known about it.

You guys seem convinced Selma won't say anything about The Fog. How come? Why is she going to be on the show? Is she promoting another film or something?

<-- feels like a mushroom today

PS: Her commentary track on Hellboy is hysterical. She's quite a nut. I'm looking forward to seeing her this Friday.

Naming them would spoil my fun, calling them chumps is far more amusing. ;)

Besides, it's nothing to do with Selma ... well, perhaps there's an abstract relationship. *cough*

She's pushing her new film, which she has a small part in (she's fifth or sixth billed, I think), Pretty Persuasion. It opens on Friday, thus the appearance methinks...

You've got a PM, btw... ;) :D

Happens to the best of us...

She's always a lot of fun, so I'm also looking forward to it.... Hopefully she'll mention The Fog, I think Stevie is the biggest role in the films she's in this fall, so that is probably pretty likely.

However, I really doubt she'll do much more than mention it....

WAY too early for clips I would think.

Oh, and by the way: the preem for Pretty Persuasion is tonight.

That nifty site that James had linked to, where he found the info on The Fog preem, had info on that one as well...

http://www.seeing-stars.com/Calendar/#premieres

Maybe Selma will be on the entertainment news mag shows tomorrow....

It's not a high profile film, to be sure, but she's usually a good one for providing good sound bites so you never know.

She may even say something about The Fog, I think unlikely (especially in a sound bite from another film's preem) but possible.

Craig (K-Site admin) posted this in one of the threads there. I thought folks here would get a kick out of it...

Craig at K-Site: said:
...I was about 20 feet from Tom Welling a few weeks ago at the TCA thing and he's a VERY good looking guy. I'd go so far as to say better looking than he is on TV. But also, he was a bit fumbly and unprepared, which was charming in a way that we don't really get to see from Clark Kent.
How cool is that? :D

Wonder how "fumbly" Tom is with dinner napkins? LOL (Sorry, couldn't resist) :p

Agent Pat, was that one of the reporters that said that or a fan?
Who? Craig? Craig is the site admin - the head honcho - the big cheese - A #1 guy (LOL) - over at K-Site. He posts here once in a blue moon.

As far as the napkin comment goes... umm.... well, that's just me ragging on Bryan Singer. LOL ;) :p :D

Oh, I see. I thought you were saying Craig posted a comment from one of the reporter's articles.

Me not so dumb really.:)

Tom's a big doof! He mucked up on the teleprompter, the muppet!

*ahem*

:D

My son is going to be big like Tom, and he's very fumbly... I think it partly comes from being big.

It's very endearing... :D

Oh, but James, he's quite the loveable doof, if I don't say so myself.

LOL! No sweat. Looks like Craig had the pleasure of seeing our loveable doof in person. (Probably wasn't the first time either) ;)

Hee! Well, it depends. I'm 6', and lemme tell ya, I'm not the most graceful dancer on the stage. I'm pretty damn klutzy, in fact. LOL

wink.gif

I am soooo jealous.

Dont quite know where to post this so I hope James comes in here some time today. I loved your message over at ksite in response to Tom Welling winning the Best Actor Award. Way to go James. :D

He's a big Care Bear. Or a studlyhuggamuffin, whichever works for ya. :0

Why thank ye. I probably annoyed a few people, but that's just tough luck. Somebody needs to switch off Sveta's morphine, she's as high as a kite...
