Actually it wasn't "SR fans" -- it was YOU. You're the only one who posts SR stuff in here. You should have been banned from the Smallville forum long ago.

The best part about the EW article is Welling's quote when asked if Thursday nights would be big enough for two superheros. Here's the direct quote from the article. Bold emphasis my own:

You are free to talk about Tom Welling, Serene. But this is NOT a Tom Welling forum. If you feel the need to make have 5 Tom Welling threads about him that have nothing to do with Smallville (regardless of the fact that he's in the cast), you can bet it'll be moved to the appropriate forum. Since this board no longer has any "cast & crew" forums to go with the main ones, "official" threads on the actors are allowed.

If you don't like it, you are free to find another board.

If the 5 threads were about Kristin Kruek or any other cast member noone would have a problem. It's not fair that we have to walk on eggshells because other posters have a problem with the star of the show.

I don't see how you can seperate the actors from the show. I read the Smallville magazine and guess what it's mainly interviews with the actors as are alot of the TV specials etc..If you visit a Smallville forum it is usually full of all kinds of info about the actors and their current projects, charity events etc.. A tv show is more than the plot and lighting. Why limit a forum from discussing the actors? I just can't see your logic in it other than trying to stop all the arguments.

Him being on the cast does not immediately have this forum double as his own.

If you want to talk about more, we have several dozen other forums here on Superhero Hype. You can make use of them. If you're not happy posting in one of the strange but appropriate forums, keep in mind that the 'net is a big place. Now I can understand how you'd want to share things with the people in this forum as cliques develop in forums over time. But, as an example, posting about The Fog in this forum, and not having anything in it related to the show, just defeats the purpose of having different forums on here, doesn't it? And no, having Tom Welling in it isn't an excuse.

As I've said before: since Tom Welling, etc etc are in the cast, a thread for ____ cast member is fine. Use that. Discuss away.

To me, "everything" in the "right places" is in the right forums. Talk about Storm in X2? X2 forum. Talk about Halle Berry's wardrobe? Take it to Community. Care to discuss "The Fog"? Misc. Films. Want to show off your Smallville fanart? It "may" get by in the Smallville forum but it would be more appropriate in Fan Art. Get my drift?

I dont need to talk about Tom having everything in all the right places, as thats just a well known fact around here. We just like talking about all those things that are in the right places.

I admire you for moderating so many different forums within the SHH, its a job I sure would never undertake.

I do get your drift, but sometimes its just easier if the topic is even slightly related, to keep it all in one place, neat, tidy and labelled. Call me pedantic, but I cant help it.

Mind what Joseph_Freefall is saying...
I've been watching and pitching in with the crazy ammount of reports here in the Smallville forums, in particular threads involving TOM WELLING!

You people need to get your acts together and keep the threads where they belong, and stop the whinning about Welling VS Routh and the suits and Welling not getting the RETURNS gig, didn't happen - ain't gonna happen get over and it move on!

If I get one more reported post about someone saying so & so "is insulting me" or all of the posts using the GAY word, I'll see to it that any thread begining or including Tom Welling are closed as soon as they open!

EXCELSIOR you should check the Superman Returns forum then, some of em do mention Smallville and Welling and NOBODY says anything, and we never started the Welling vs Routh thing, we're happy that TW is not in Returns.

The thing is I'm NOT getting constant PMs and reported posts about those threads only these in the SMALLVILLE forums...

I've gotten more complaints about these few threads here in the last couple of days than any other thread in the entire forums...

Don't get me wrong I love Smallville, I think Welling does a fantastic job on the show, I also think Routh will be a good Superman and that Returns will be the kick-ass flick we SUPERMAN fans have been waiting to see...

I am able to seperate the many differnt worlds of Superman... there is enough room for everyone!
