Or the original Broadway version of Hair! That was all-nude too!

:D We're so creative. Really.. Tom's agent should call us.

How about a modern day version of Adam & Eve:D

They wouldnt be able to cope with the amount of women auditioning for the part of Eve. :D

You guys want a casting suggestion for Tom out of left field? A breakout film role as the main lead in an historic story that everybody knows? Something in a bigger budget, epic type film? Action? Adventure? Romance? Lavish costumes? Visual effects and CGI? A character he already resembles both in age and facial features?

:(

So much for it being "an historic story that everybody knows."

Oh well. This might make a good movie someday too...

Oh wait...

:p

BoyscouT, that picture is of Tutankhamun, the famous "boy king" of Egypt's 18th Dynasty. His tomb was found in 1922 with a ridiculous amount of precious antiquities, not the least of which was tons of gold artworks including his solid gold funerary mask (seen above.) It is arguably the most famous of all archaeological finds. He's certainly more famous in death than he was in life, but his life was controversial none-the-less. His reign was cut short when he died around the age of 19. It is still uncertain what the cause of death was, but murder is one of the theories. Anyhoo, it would make a good epic film IMHO and was actually considered by Centropolis at one point, but it's in development hell right now, AFAIK.

Poor Tom, you want him to play a teen again!

Besides, he's far too tall and his skin isn't made of 22 karat gold. :p ;)

Well, I'd *prefer* he plays his age, but if he could land a role like that, I wouldn't complain. He won't be able to do that forever.

I know you're kidding, but he does bare a close resemblance to the face on the mask. And while I know he's too tall (he's FAR too muscular too) *most* actors would probably be too tall to play Tut accurately anyway. Unless Tom plays a character that is *known* for being short, I think he could get away with it.

It was just a thought. I'd love to see him star in that kind of film.

yes maybe they will make a *good* movie about that one day..:)

At this point I'd like to see him in anything that a 17yr old can't get into with a parent or guardian..that doesnt suck:) (not that the CBTD movies sucked--they were good for the genre)

Well, that goes w/o saying. I'd pay to see him read from a phone book - shirtless, of course - but I'll take whatever I can get. LOL

I'm with Melly.

I'd even consider NC17. :D
(you know.. something "artsy" *cough*)

Can he be sweating a little too, please?

Avid.. I need an OZ translation. Look at today's update on James' site, www.tomwelling.org, you have to click the picture of Tom... Now tell me what on EARTH "spunk" means in OZ-speak, because I'm really hoping it isn't the same as the slang here.
*snicker*

Indeed!

I know his window for doing other roles is somewhat limited given the SV sked, but I'm hoping he picks up something juicy for the summer - if he hasn't signed for something already. We're always the last to know. :(

LOL! A spunk is a really good looking guy or a good looking girl.

When we were in High School we'd sit and talk about which boys were the best looking spunks. :)

Oh, I know what it means and it means that there too.

Its usually only young girls that use that term in Australia. I've never heard of that magazine so I'm not sure who the readers of it are.
