it did... but i get the feeling they'll want to show that DotM is better than ROTF asap...so i'm expecting at least a picture or two before the new year...

and with some of the movies coming out before the end of the year, it would be surprising if there's NOTHING with any of them

Is there a big Paramount release this Holiday season? If so, then that would be the one that I would bet on.

I do think that Paramount won't promote TF3 till next year. Dont' forget that just like with the 2nd movie , ILM is really going to push themselves to get the VFX shots done in record time.
Hence why i don't think that we'll be seeing footage this year.

We won't see any TF3 footage until next year. It is not like Tron (which has been promoting forever), TF is already established and will not be marketing until after the Super Bowl imo.

Here's my idea for an easy Teaser Trailer without the need for new footage:

-Shot of flowing American flag with patriotic voiceover of greatest moments in American history.
-Then the flag is blasted by lasers and catches fire as a metallic voiceover exclaims "No More Freedom!"
-Transformers Logo
-End.

Wow, I read these morons on the internet who think they are in the know. "We have have problems with our 3D????" Really? Come into my edit room and I will show you beautiful 3D. There has never been a live action show that has pushed the boundaries of 3D like Transformers 3. We shot the entire movie with 3D cameras. I actually loved shooting in 3D. I will give full details of my process and why I liked 3D in the next week right before the Transformers announcement piece comes out on Tron and Narnia.
